I was just looking at tomorrow's log in rdlogedit in RD 2.0.2, and I
noticed a checkbox labelled "enable auto-refresh". Does that do what I
think it does, namely reloading the day's log when someone makes
last-minute changes?

Hello,
I just got a hand full of ASI 6012 Cards and have a few questions. I am
using Rivendell 2.0.2 on centos, fromt he paravel broadcast appliance
disk. I was formerly using an m-audio delta 1010. Is it as simple as
pulling the delta and installing 2 AS! 6012's to replace it? The ASI's

Alright I looked at the web_api.odt file and I set up a editcut.html page.
Things work except the start_datetime and the end_datetime fields. It only
allows GMT values, and when Rivendell tries to convert the times into EST
(which is what I use) sometimes it doesn't do it correctly. Example, if

Bear in mind that those web pages in 'web/tests/' are just what you'd infer
from the name of the directory --i.e. test harnesses, used for debugging and
validating the web services
You would have to edit the cut in RDLibrary itself.
You go to RDLIBRARY, highlight your cart#, hit edit and you can either ADD,
DELET, cuts in the cart, or edit them according to your needs.

The HTML pages are not the same thing as the web services. The HTML pages use
the web services (by way of of POST requests to rdxport.cgi from what I've
glanced in the HTML source). In your Riv sources folder under docs/web_api.odt
is the full reference for all of the commands rdxport.cgi will

No. You will need to configure separate groups for this.

I also forgot to mention...
Say there is a cart with multiple cuts... cut 001 and cut 002.
cut 001 was created by user1, and cut 002 was created by user2.
Is it possible to restrict user1 from doing anything with cut 002 belonging
to user2, and vice versa restricting user2 from doing anything wi
Hello.
I'm trying to redo the web interface html pages so that, for example, on
the addcut.html page, the person using that page, besides the username,
password, and cart number, also has the options of selecting the days of
the week in which to or not to play the cut via checkboxes, and specifyin
Just adding to this, I noticed last night that when trying to rip a cd in
RDLibrary, no fields were populated. I tried it with a known working cd that I
had already ripped a few weeks ago, again no go. I tried it with another
application (rippex) and they worked fine. I can't remember doing anyt
Hi all,
I was helping someone off list trying to get SuSE 11.4 running with Rivendell
2.1.1. I ended up making a nutshell how to so figured I might as well share it
in case its useful. From what I can tell the steps involved should be more or
less the same for SuSE 12.1 but don't quote me on
Ubuntu is /usr/local/libexec (or at least thats what works for me). Once you
have that double check you've copied across a working rd-bin.conf.
You should have that file inside /etc/apache2/conf.d/rd-bin.conf
The important lines are line 23 which should read: and line 50: ScriptAlias /rd-bin/

I could have sworn that the old problem where rdlibrary was sorting
by length alphabetically instead of numerically was fixed long ago. But
I'm seeing it in both 1.7.2 and 2.0.2.
It occurs to me that most stations won't have very many cuts longer
than 9:59, so maybe no one has noticed the prob
