well look at all the stuff u need to have in before compil, for me i had the
same problem , cuz of a missing thing in my kernel..i read too fast
sometimestake 2 mins to look at it .

installed the kernel 2.4.3 on my mandrake 7.2 configuration and compiled the
drivers. It works fine but if you intend to use them under a SMP
configuration (like my Abit BP6 with two celerons 500), you

Quand vous avez un probleme, il est important de mettre la version des
logiciels que vous utilisez. Ici pppd et le noyau linux.
Chez moi:
pppd version 2.4.0
kernel 2.4.3.
et ca marche!
