Many thanks for updating SliceGridPlugin to allow editing of custom
field values, beside slices.
This way it allows editing of specific custom fields exactly as I
thought TiddlerTweaker predestined for.
Great!

Thank you for the suggestion Eric. This doesn't do it for me. I have
HTML tables that I would like to be able to edit like a spreadsheet
and I don't want all of the ugly html to be visible - to avoid
mistakes in editing cell content.

Thanks Wolfgang - you're right that if I use FieldsEditor, the
changecount will be affected by changes to other fields. But if I
make a change to a field using some other method (e.g., by using a
"store.setValue" script in another tiddler, or by changing a Tickler
date in mGTD), that does not aff
I did already look there, but didn't see anything that addressed my
problem.
I did find something indicating that the code was changed two years
ago to allow what I'm trying to do, but I'm not at the point where I
can make it useful (or tell if it could be made useful):
Here's the discussion:

Of course it would work. However, it involves using a plugin to

How did you solved this problem then?
With certain browsers you always also need the TiddlySaver.jar file in
the same file directory:

Tiddlers don't show up as "modified" if one makes a change to the
value of a custom field (and no other changes).
Is there any way to find tiddlers in which field values have recently
been changed? (I'm imagining something like what Eric offered in this
thread, where the question was about findi
How do I stop display of the backstage when using the TW locally?
I have a tiddly called zzSetDefaultOptions
with this statement:
showBackstage=false;
This doesn't seem to work.
I can see in the source code for my TW that a variable is set to
enable/include backstage or not.
How do I change this?
Cool plugin, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. I specifically
need a search box that works just like the normal search (searching
the full text of tiddlers) but returns only tiddlers tagged "Content."

Thanks for the quick help - yet again.

Hi Eric,
This is amazing! It opens so many possibilities for inline editing.
Now, if html allowed character rotation (by 90° anti-clockwise) that
header row would be perfect. Looking at that editable grid, you
haven't by any means slogrammed any such for fields as well, have you?

Hi jadderley,
Dunno if it helps, but may be interesting. I played with QuickNote in
combination with TiddlerListMacro. So, turning something like this...

I am having problems with TiddlyWiki.
If I copy TiddlyWiki to another folder on my harddrive it suddenly
starts complaining when I want to save the changes.
The complaints is the same as previously reported when the file is
"blocked" by Windows.
Do anyone have a solution?
