possible to offer a "tar" package in a

* What is the intended purpose(s) ( viz. menu bar icon )?
* Is there a palette or suggested colors?
* Is there a deadline?
* Are there design choices that should be avoided ( viz. no pencils )?
* Where would you like submissions posted?

Thorsten,
Thanks for all your comments. I certainly understand your frustration with
the Wiki.
I wonder how the "Ubuntu Weekly News Team" feel about the tool? They submit
a lot of wiki content.
As for the Artwork Team, if the wiki went away what impact would it have?

some other manner. I share the same time zone as UDS but I am generally
unavailable during the day.
Perhaps some impromptu evening meetings on the IRC would be beneficial. :)
Thoughts?

The Impression GTK themes are now available for Unity from the Wiki.

Screen shots are available from projBlog.

I noticed someone is using "Foopics" to host artwork titled "spread ubuntu".

Thanks for the F14 wallpaper compliment. In Fedora we work extremely hard to

IMO community themes has a lot of potential and I believe unique to the
Ubuntu community.
I can start putting some ideas together on the Wiki but I can't go it
alone and would want input including participation from the Canonical
design team.

s "improving the artwork community" be a formal or
informalthread at UDS ( http://uds.ubuntu.com/ ).
IMO, in the area of artwork Canonical and Community have drifted to far
apart and need to discover new ways to add value to Ubuntu.

I just updated my Lucid desktop and a new community-themes package.
I see the Impression buttons are now on the left. I was thinking of doing
the same thing.
Thanks for the help!
