With today's daily ISO of Precise, the SWAP is correctly reused (bug 311299 is
solved), but still the installer creates a new EFI partition.

11.10 in the MBR of sda. Its update-grub correctly detected 11.10 on sda1 and

Boot-Repair.

For the 2 missing commands (initialization and log_preparation),
they are in the /usr/share/boot-sav/bs-init.sh file, which is in the
boot-sav package. I checked the dependencies, i think there is no
problem (boot-sav is required by the clean-ubiquity

Default settings, just changed video codec to RGB-uncompBMP .
Resulting video is rotated 180 degrees.
No problem with other codecs of the list.

I see nothing strange in your Boot-Info Summary, except the Fdisk
warning: Partition 2 does not start on physical sector boundary.,
which might affect the SWAP.
GRUB seems installed correctly. IMHO, this bug seems not connected to
GRUB, so reinstalling GRUB (via Boot-Repair or else) won't help.

- 11.10's os-prober detects both systems.
- Standard install of GRUB2 leads to Grub rescue, out of of disk error.
- GRUB2 install with --disk-module=ata shows the GRUB menu, Ubuntu boots fine,
but choosing the Win7 entry leads to Disk read
