I don't have a right-hand Windows key on this keyboard, but I tried with
compose:menu instead (using both the intl and alt-intl variants), and I
can type "ç" fine with "Compose , c", which seems reasonably sensible.
Is it expected to be on "Compose + c" instead?

This is fixed for me with Edgy RC on HP nw8240 (ATI FireGL V5000 PCIE).
Desktop CD works, but is starts in 1024x768 mode (instead of 1920x1200),
while Alternate CD asks for resolution and then works correctly.

I realized why this happens now. When the html file is local, the local
mime properties determines which application opens the file. So if
select an .html file in nautilus, select preferences->Open_with, then
select epiphany, then fie:/// urls are then opened by epiphany.

I do have an edgy partition and over there everything works fine.
All installations are completely up-to-date. The libhal version on the

So you were installing beta from CD?
Previous comment let me suggest that you sould try to reboot the CD, and choose
the verify CD to make sure there was no error in either download of image, or
burning it.
(I did not test beta myself, but I would be surprised the very CD menu option
would have

you have to copy:
/usr/share/gmailfs/gmailfs.py in /usr/local/bin
and
/usr/bin/mount.gmailfs in /sbin
but now there is another problem:
when i give the mount command (with all the option, cause it doesn't care about

The NFS server was Redhat Enterprise 3.0. I use there ACL over
NFSv3 wihout problem. A lot of Linux distrib work with ACL over NFSv3 but
not ubuntu 6.10 beta. Thats posible to add ACL support over NFSv3

I am having a similar issue with my Dell Inspiron E705 w/ ipw3945.
Every time I boot I get about a 30-45 sec stall while initializing
network interfaces. When the system boots the card is detected and
enabled but does not and will not connect to anything untill I go into
networking and disable->r
