computer. Right away I checked 'mouse settings' and found the touchpad
tab; there, I unchecked "disable while typing". After this I have

I installed ubuntu tweak and compiz config setting manager and changed my
window animations into wobbly window.
But after that sometimes when i did maximize and then restore my windows, the
window borders are missing. Then i tried metacity --replace on terminal then

Just to add... I upgraded my netbook yesterday to 11.10 and oddly
enough, that always starts at full brightness which is the opposite of
my laptop that I referred to above that always starts at max dimness. My
laptop is a G72 like Dave's and my netbook is one of the old Acer
models. Hope that help

This is kind of important for me. It usually takes me a couple a times
to get the brightness just right. Use it for a while and then make
adjustments. This is no big deal if after I'm satisfied with it, it
stays set, but my adjustments are lost every time I restart which SUCKS!
