I could reproduce this issue several times and I have taken the logs
relevant to this. Since the display and keyboard hangs after the issue
is reproduced, the logs were taken after a reboot. Also updated Bug
#916688 with apport-collect.

have sound in 9.10. Strangely, when I had done a clean install of 9.10
on the same machine, I had sound, but no wireless. So I installed 9.04

I didn't get time to test the Jaunty release yet. But I'll test it and put

Hi, I tested the Alpha-3 LiveCD today. The video quality is increased,
but the problem still exists. But the lines doesn't look that ugly as in
the Intrepid version. It needs more quality in video rendering..

I tried to install Empathy (for voice chat) in Ubuntu Hardy from PPA.
But It seems to be some dependecy conflicts between the packages empathy
and telepathy-stream-engine. If empathy is installed telepathy-stream-
engine must be removed and vice v

them. But the problem is still there. I don't see any difference even
after I installed the new packages from https://edge.launchpad.net

When I took screenshots while playing the video in my friend's system, I
got an image like the one I got in my system. I thinks that must be some
image capturing issue related to frame rates. But as for a human
perspective view, the video playing is much finer in his system than
mine...

Have the exact same problem. Its not a fstab/uuid issue. What I've
noticed is that when it fails and I do a sudo vol_id /dev/sda5. the
output has "ID_FS_TYPE=suspend" instead of "ID_FS_TYPE=swap".
Once I do a mkswap and then add the new uuid to the fstab file, it
starts to work on reboot until for

Just to endorse - I have the same problem after replacing my edgy and
dapper with a fresh install of feisty. Unfortunately I installed feisty
