Attaching xz with JPG and PNG files.
I tried crushing the PNG, but couldn't get it any smaller. The online
tools I have used previously did manage to save 20%, but at the expense
of worsening the banding. The PNG is 2.3MB, the JPG is 651KB.

On Bionic when I am prompted to enter my password via polkit I can type
a lot of characters in to the input field, above 24 characters the dots
hiding the actual characters overflows the input field.

Title:
High delay when booting (grub waits with a blank purple screen for 10
seconds before booting the kerne
I have enabled proposed on a new VM install and updated everything.
grub-pc version installed is 2.02-2ubuntu8.8
I rebooted and observed the same 10 second delay.
I logged back in and ran update-grub for good measure and rebooted - I observed
the same 10 second delay.

In Cosmic if you hit ctrl-f the search bar appears for a second and then
vanishes again.
On Bionic ctrl-f doesn't do anything, which could be preferred.

This upstream bug suggests that the problem can be resolved by installing
resolvconf:

Just so I understand, did you try and rebuild n-m with iwd enabled, or
did you try and enable it at run time?

Public bug reported:
iwd is an alternative to wpa_supplicant.
It can be enabled as backend for n-m at run time, but n-m needs to be
built with support for it.
iwd is in universe in Cosmic.
It would be good to get this switched on for DD so that we can test and
think about making it the default
Tested the candidate channel for the fixed snap and I can confirm that
the icon is back. Thanks!
