It opens the correct page but in the wrong profile (it uses the
currently running firefox instance instead of opening a new one with
the specified profile)

This flag does not work in Hardy with firefox 3.0 anymore.

accessed, with winbind running they cannot.

handle!
Unfortunately kontron doesn't distribute the ePanel with the serial Penmount
and the customer will have categorical these kontron-devices ...

Hardy LTSP doesn't work with XDMCP! I have set this in my lts.conf:
SCREEN_07 = startx
Result: No GDM-Login appears on the terminals!
The settings in /etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom where checked and ok, ufw is disabled.
Only a X - Pointer appears in the middle of the screen.

I agree, the init script is rather a clumsy approach, but I didn't know
better. From what I see hotkey-setup seems laptop related, while this is
a PS/2 desktop keyboard (it even depends on laptop-detect)

This bug occurs very rarely for me (once every 20 boots or so), but it seems to
be caused by heavy network traffic shortly after the activation of WLAN.

texlive places all ls-R databases centrally, rather in the respective texmf
trees, thus ls-R in TEXMFHOME is not read.
This is a problem of texlive itself; a separate installation of texlive shows

i can confirm this with an acer aspire 3100. in feisty it worked, but
after upgrade to gutsy ist stopped working. ndiswrapper in my opinion
isn't a solution, since madwifi driver should work natively on linux.

When logging in, my display starts flashing as soon as gnome-power-manager is
started. The hotkey events for brightness up and brightness down are polled a
dozen times per second.
This happens with both battery plugged and unplugged.

i can't reproduce the error any longer, for after purging rhythmbox and
reinstalling it, it plays wma-files correctly. i don't know if this is
due to purging rhythmbox or if there has been an update. please could
anybody tell me how to mark this bug now?

yes, i'm absolutely sure. i've tried it on my laptop as well. there it
played one single wma file, and after restarting rhythmbox it wouldn't
any more.

in gutsy, rhythmbox won't play my .wma files, while totem does and in
feisty rhythmbox plays them as well (gstreamer-ffmpeg plugin installed
on both systems).

I solved the problem by adding "acpi=force" to my kernel boot parameters.
Everything is fine now!

automatic upgrade to Ubuntunu 7.04
looks like another occurence of #46100 to me.
I recall that after I had installed tetex a while ago,
I was watching the postinst processes. It seemed like
the post-install scripts had not produced all files
I attached the Xorg.6.log and glxinfo shown in terminal
Output from xdriinfo is:
libGL is too old. (??)
is nobody interested on this LTSP -Problem??
