I reinstalled PiTiVi after adding PPA and it works great.
0.14 also has an improved workflow !

Agreed, I myself am a developer, but I do not contribute (yet) to cool apps
like these (PiTiVi) only with feedback&bug reports, some of which were helpful,
some not.

I can't remember exactly what i did to recover the functionality of PiTiVi.
I guess I uninstalled and then reinstalled again, previously changing the
source from where Ubuntu gets its updates (I no longer use my default one,
in Mexico, but one in the USA).

Please make sure to use the version 0.14 of pitivi (see the pitivi
website for the link to the PPA for it).

I have a desktop and a laptop both with Ubuntu 10.10.
Both had Pitivi installed by default and I also tried to reinstall it using
Ubuntu Software Center or "sudo aptitude..." but the app
still does not work.

I cannot reproduce the problem, it works 100% for me on all the linux
distributions I tested with the latest version, and so I need the
information requested above. Comment #6 is not helpful.

The good man tells you the PIVITI app is not working and I confirm it
too.
Why close the bug report? Is PiTiVi working ? NO
Why not check those things yourself ? You running windows or what?
Please reopen this bug report because PiTiVi was messed up and not
repaired again!

the S key. Or are you telling me this doesn't work?
About the render problem: this should be a separate bug report. In that
bug report, please provide instructions to reproduce it, what kind of
clips you used (with transitions?
