I have had related problems on hardy with genisoimage too. The following
would create an empty udf filesystem:
genisoimage -udf -o blah.iso blah
I compiled the original mkisofs from cdrecord-2.01.01a53, same problem.
Then, I compiled cdrkit-1.1.9. This one works.

I can confirm this one. I upgraded from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10, and since
the upgrade gconf2 is eating CPU. After installing glib debug symbols, I
got this stack trace for the rampant process:

I did some more testing today on the SH-S203P drive. I did both a BIOS
upgrade, tried to to experiment with setting SATA to compatible mode in
BIOS and disabling memory remapping. Also tried to boot with acpi=off
noapic nolapic nohz=off pci=nomsi settings (and a combination of those),
but it didn't
Turning "Preferences" -> "Appearance" -> "Visual Effects" to "None"
fixes this issue in 8.10.

I had to change the phone firmware version on the patch file for it to
properly recognize the device ( UNUSUAL_DEV( 0x0421, 0x0024, 0x,
0x0660 ). Mine was 6.60 compared to Bardok's 4.81.

The "Konsole" tab lags for 3 seconds on start of kdevelop.
It shows no konsole.

Hey there,
the tool tips obviously made it in the package, but this is in my opinion not
enough.
What about a small text that explains not only *what* it is, but also *how* it
works.
For most plugins, that's maybe not necessary because the plugin name is
self-explaining. But what about "inotify
i confirm this behavior for mounting usb camera too.
when i switch to other users (after a session of mounting and unmounting of a
usb camera)
i see "left over" dialogs from the times when i plugged in the camera (on the
previous user)

Switched over to Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid), pathological crashes now in a totally
different way:
see bug # 269155
The version of pathological is the same however. What changed is the version of
pulseaudio.
This could be a pulseaudio bug.

I did not apply the patch directly, since the freeradius versions are different
(2.0.3 x 2.1.0). Instead, I edited the files debian/rules and debian/control,
following the tips in the patch file.

After a suspend/resume cycle with latest Intrepid the wireless is messed. I
found this temp solution:

I had this problem as well. After trying to install the driver, I
uninstalled all the FGLRX components in gnome-terminal and tried using
Hardware Drivers to install again. It worked (the driver appears as
activated). I restarted and got the proper screen resolution, etc.
That said, I still can't g
Audacity 1.3.5 gives a warning when opening an .oga file. It says:
"Audacity had to make a guess at the type of file. The Audio may be bogus.
If the audio is bogus, try renaming the file so that it has the correct
extension before opening it."
Also, when saving Audacity complains that Ogg Vorbis
