Empathy status away, when idle it becomes idle, and when I move the mouse/press
a key, it'll become Online, not away
Same issue on fresh 9.10 and even on a 10.04 alpha 2. Dell Mini 9.

The Ctrl-Alt-D works every time, but i loose focus (only on SOME
elements weirdly enough) soon after.

Issue seems to be solved. I added karmic-proposed to software sources
and updated the system. Don't know which of the updated packets solved
it ... maybe the kernel update to 2.6.31-18-generic.
I can now choose the USB sound card in alsamixer and with

Hi Tommy,
I am running 9.10 and the driver is still out of date. I manually
updated the driver - but it still didn't fix the problem.
It is a problem with Modem Manager (or associated) choosing ttyUSB2 to
connect through instead of ttyUSB0. Can see this happening via the logs.

just tested Ubuntu 10.04 alpha2 on a usb. startup disc creator just works like
normal this time.

choose try ubuntu(first option), kernel panic.
reboot. boot error, reboot, live cd starts.
press F6, press Esc, change quiet splash -- to acpi=off noapic

I do not get 802.11n connections with my Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network
Adapter.
I only get 54Mb/s. With Windows I get 150Mb/s.
