independently of the available to all users option. The problem is
that since oneiric it is stored in /etc/NetworkManager as plaintext and

installed versions of AdblockPlus and Flashblock still on incompatible
versions?
Of course, firefox then tries to update the versions and fails, as it

Apport wouldn't run indicating some error I don't recall. DPKG under
recovery wouldn't load the network interfaces needed to download missing
packages, not even under netroot... A manual install of the missing
packages didn't yield any improvement. At the end, I decided to reformat
This particular host is used as a network sound server, hence why it
runs in system mode with IP-based ACL. It is connected to my hi-fi
system and receives the sound output from my laptop over network.
This was working fine for a number of Ubuntu releases, until that
particular upload broke it.
PS: the laptop is running Oneiric. Other laptops that occasionally
connect to the same host run either Debian/Testing or Debian/Stable.
