I'm trying to use pam_passwdqc, but I'd like for PAM to verify the old
password before trying to give me a new one.
As is, if I use passwdqc it will go, "here's a new password, now what
was your old one?".

OK -- Here goes:
Freeing up space after cups starts using excessive CPU allows it to work
properly (It receives a SIGPIPE though when run under gdb). Here's the
backtrace at the point where it was using CPU:

You said this is a Java application. Can you check the version of Java
you are using ('java -version' will tell you this), and compare to the
java you were using in 7.10?
On a guess, I would think that the problem might be that your SAP
application won't work with a Java which is not from Sun. T

According to my system, the file /usr/lib/squid/ldap_auth expects
libldap_r-2.4.so.2 and liblber-2.4.so.2. Are you using a squid other

Yes. You'll need to go into Synaptic and select the "Status" button at
the bottom left. Select "Installed (local or obsolete)" from the list
above, and then mark any "linux-image-" packages found in the package
list for removal.
