this is the case. You also need support from your video driver and card. Eg

Pessoal não sei explicar o que está acontecendo, mas aqui em casa acabei de
instalar o 9.10 e fui atualizando os pacotes aos poucos, fui instalar o
lázarus do repositório (0.9.26.2) e ele começa a abrir a tela de splash e
some e não vem mais nada, daí começou minha sina, quis baixar a versão do
Inesperadamente, meu notebook deixou de montar midias externas via USB.
Seja pendrives ou HDs externos, que funcionam normal em outras máquinas,
não são montados no Notebook, que ontem ainda operava normalmente.
Os OS instalados são todo Karmic, e trabalho com VirtualBox para operar
com sistemas
TEm um dado ainda que não informei, que qdo um CD está montado, ao
inserir o USB, ele é demontado. Também o modem 3G que funcionava
normalmente, deixou de fazê-lo.

Não aparece nem com o comando lspci e tb naum aparece no lsusb.
Ele já disse que não aparece...

Как всегда смотреть в сторону параметров Heap для JVM. Для Openfire это
делается так(или похожим
образом):

PS: быстро глянул в shell-скрипт bin/openfire последней версии, похоже там для
этого есть переменная

искаропки? Сегодня заинтересовало, как бы туда добавить русские словари.
Поделитесь, если кто-то знает, где такие словари есть.

сам пользуюсь, и Вам рекомнедую обратить внимание на goldendict
оно же до сих пор по протоколу dict работает? вот например список серверов
протокола dict. среди них парочка с англо-русскими словарями.

Нашёл на igniterealtime.org, что надо в строке запуска сервера
(/etc/init.d/openfire) прописать параметр -Xmx128m.
Теперь всё хорошо.

В universe есть пакет usb-modeswitch в состав которого, в том числе,
входит правило для udev /etc/udev/rules.d/usb_modeswitch.rules.
Зачем изобретать велосипед??

The default Ubuntu kernel provides only 8 loopback devices. Setting more
is possible with the max_loop=number on the kernel boot parameters
line in /boot/grub/grub.cfg. It would be great if this can be done
automagically for a host configured as Storage Controller.
