Hi Peter,
We have one xen server with 6 TB local LVM that is recognized by CS 4.3.1,

Hi Umar,
Can you elaborate your zone and network.

In basic zone shared network guest vm will have the public ip or routable ip
address.
Configuring ingress rules on the security groups will be able reach the vm.

Isn't commvault integrating with ACS/CCP? Thought I heard about it. We are
really interested in a backup solution as well. Something like how Veeam
integrates with vCloud.

I'm trying to configure VM login by SSH Key pair Authentication instead

Hi guys ,
I am having a difficulty assigning public IP to my VMs. I have done the
installation correctly as my VMS and systemVMs are functional. As of now my
physical network configuration in the KVM management server is the
following :

Mohammad, any errors on the host side? Can you check if VRs are being created
on the host? Also, check if you can get the console (from the hypervisor and
not from the ACS GUI). Perhaps there is a clue on what's happening.
By the way, are you other system vms working okay? Like ssvm and cpvm?
Stephan,
Thanks, the delete function has indeed been moved into the Zones tab.
I did try to select several languages including English just now and all of
them show the 'label.anything' style tabs and buttons for some of the items.
So, that did not fix it. I wonder if the installation of the
Hi, Geoff,
Thanks a lot, here are the details:
1. CloudStack version: 4.4.1
2. Hypervisor: KVM
3. Primary storage is NFS, but system.vm.use.local.storage is set to true.
And:

expunge.interval

Andrei,
the second Tab (right of 'details') shows 'zone'.
Regarding your second question in another post: Edit and Delete moved to
the 'zone' tab. It's no longer shown below the 'details'. That changed
during the last updates. (Behavior is similar to User->Show
Usernames->User->edit)
Anyhow, hav

Below is the partial MS log. I have marked couple parts in bold. Might be

Hi,
Thanks for reading this.
I have this setup:

I've also noticed that in the ACS 4.4.2 i've lost the ability to Delete

I can see is the Edit and the Download Template/ISOs, but not the Delete one or
any other one.

Stephan,
I did update the system vms and that went smoothly. both ssvm and cpvm were
updated as well as all virtual routers. They all show 4.4.2 version when you
look at the details.
As I've mentioned, the instances are not created from the GUI, but are working
perfectly well from the CloudM

Hi,
one GUI issue I found so far in 4.4.2 is a misplaced "apply"-button if
you edit the details of templates. This seems browser-dependent, on
firefox it somehow works, on chromium the button is completely
invisible.
If you're unable to start any VM, I assume you didn't install the
updated system

Hi guys,
I've recently upgraded my ASC from version 4.3.2 to version 4.4.2. The upgrade
process went well without any setbacks or issues. I've not seen any errors in
the log files. All looks good apart from the GUI issues. I've tried to clear
browser caches and pressed force refresh as well. T

the Shared Network offering, we can still create what is effectively an

Hi Keerthi,
External dhcp server integration to cloudstack is not there currently.
You can try the following:

2. Create shared network using this offering. Give ip range and vlan same as
your dhcp range while creating netw
Thanks Sanjeev. This is the exact behaviour but it's unable to resolve
names and we have to manually change the resolv.conf. I guess I have to
use a startup script to point VMs to an external DNS server.
