The Echo Dot can be had for less than $50 and is worth a try. You’ll probably
have to set it up through the Alexa app on your phone and you’ll need an amazon
account to link it to. Once set up, it should be fairly straight forward to
use. If it doesn’t work out, You can

I have a fourth generation Echo that I bought on sale for $60 that was
originally $100. It has very nice sound. I often use it with my iPhone to
listen to music from my phone and to stream audio dramas from my phone. I have
also streamed bard books from bard mobile
What is difference between the echo dot third and fourth generations?
