Hi all
I tried several times to get it to install as an 'upgrade'. Didn't
work.
Tried 'archive and install' and it worked perfectly - except for
keychain access, which is now fixed.
Runs smoothly on my G4DP1.25 with 1.25M RAM.

I also had a hairy few hours when I installed as an upgrade only and

Restarted and reinstalled after replacing only the system folder and

Is one of the fingers on your left hand mis-typing?

We have 4 of the Sarotech cases bought from Daniel and we love them -
not having an annoying power brick dangling off the back of the drive
makes them so much more portable. They use a standard "kettle cord"
power cable.
We tend to prefer Seagate and Hitachi drives rather than Western

Yeah,
I'm pretty happy with my 1TB WD MyBook.
One thing to look out for is that WD label their MyBook units slightly
differently depending on the interface. For example my triple interface

I have had bad experiences with LaCie from the pov of the drives and
Mac compatibility and customer service (there is none). The drive was
one of the Porsche designs - I would advise against them.

If I decide to upgrade to Leopard, which I guess I will sooner or later so
it might as well be sooner, then I quite like the idea of Time Machine. I
have three Macs (MacBook Pro, G4 PowerBook, and a G4 iBook) running on a
wireless network, plus Apple TV, and historically my back up solution has

There is an office furniture shop in Albany Highway not far from

I don't know the name though.
It think it is run by an Asian family and they make them to order in

Hi Mark
I recently bought a chair from Disarect in Northbridge. There are
about four other furniture stores on the same street, but they pretty
much sell the same kind of stuff as each other. Disarect's stuff is a
bit more upmarket, but still reasonable price-wise.
Mind you, my chair won't b
