Hi Jennifer It's all pretty safe, and shouldn't (won't) cause any issues. Basically, it's just shut down the computer. Hold down those 4 keys (Command-Option-P-R) after turning the computer on. (or just before turning it on). After a couple of chimes (like the normal start up ones) you let the k
