all exhale (fc kahuna remix) is one-third of the holy techno trilogy (ie: the three greatest techno tracks of all time) the first time i heard hawtin play it, i thought he was communicating with me telpathically (those voices) i cannot hear it enough. i get chills every friggin time the 'bleep-beep-bee-be' i also heard tenaglia play his own edit in toronto last year. alomst as amazing. Re: [313] Luke Slater the Pop princess
i think the release might not be until may. i can't call it bandwagon since it still really sounds like slater. he just took the twisted sounds of wireless and shaped them into a more traditional verse-chorus-verse structure. and i think i said in a past post, the singer actually reminds me of brian johnson (ac/dc), in other words, its a lot more full frontal and emotional than the blanker-than-though vocals on most of the current new wave practitioners. Actually that mix series was pretty much started by Alan. He approached Prime Dist. to do a mix cd and came up with that title/concept which he thought at first was only for his mix cd only. The name stuck for the Space DJz release due to a slight miscommunication and it was too late to change it. Although, I must comment that the design work for Alan's import or UK version is a bit 'yucky' compared to the domestic. have a nice day, g. [313] Fw: Warp Magic Bus Tour
In May this year Warp will be closing the office and heading for the open road in what will be the first ever Warp Records collective tour. We will be travelling around Europe in a specially constructed 'magic bus', which we have commissioned artist Alex Rutterford to design. This tour will feature a string of amazing shows, with a strong online presence, unique visuals and will include exclusive Warp Films screenings. A special 'Magic Bus' site will be updated regularly as the tour progresses and exclusive merchandise and a 'Warp Magic Bus' CD will be available. Our intention is that the shows will halt time and space and allow people to experience the 'magic' that has kept Warp pushing the boundaries of music and art over the last 12 years. We see this tour as an opportunity to directly connect with the many people around Europe who have been moved by our music. This "magic" will be used for one of the purposes it was originally created for, to draw humans into the moment, and remind us that life is a complete fu*king miracle. Label boss Steve Beckett and some of the artists will be available for interviews before and during the tour. In addition mixes will be available for radio promotion and it will be possible to record some of the shows. Up to the minute information can be found at www.warprecords.com/tour - this will include details of our soon to be confirmed leaving party in London. regarding fade-ins, i spotted another one - masterbuilder by robert hood, and i'm pretty sure that on the minimal nation ep there is another on or two :-) on a side note - i have been heavily listening to the future beat alliance lp "disconnected" (21dsr) and i must say it is a beautiful piece of music. i've had it since its been out and at first i liked it but not much else. it turned out to be one of those records that just grows and grows on you till it becomes a near obsession. a very melodic album, as one would expect from a delsin release, that seems to look slightly back in time for inspiration for manages to offer a new and fresh listening experience. i recommended it to my dad. have a nice day, fab. .:: www.negative-industries.com ::. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Yeah, here in Sydney & Melbourne there were cinema screenings with a talk and Q&A session - it was cool, lots of different people came, eg people from film backgrounds, etc. Very intimate, enlightening. Really showed the possibilities of presenting 'techno' projects in new ways to reach new audiences. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Neki: i'm well up for it However, with regard to the acts before and afterwards, i've never "taken in" a live set in a proper seated auditorium and have a feeling it might be a bit weird. anyone have any experience of this sedentary form of appreciation? my guess would be that he doesn't dj, rather they'll show the edition of the film with Mills' soundtrack. has anyone been to one of the other screenings? care to comment? did Mills dj, did he do anything much, was he even there? rob _ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

It's a fairly average mix cd, i think. There are also a few mixing mistakes and the tracklist isnt all that great, you'll find most of the tracks that are on the 2 cds on (free) live sets floating around on the web (techno.cz i think) = Now that you've read this, please be advised that Every Dog Has Its Day __ Do You Yahoo!? Hi Ryan, PGM003 is actually a release from an artist on called Tangible (Dr. Robot on 313). It will be out shortly. Test pressings are complete and I'm waiting to hear back from some distributors. You can hear some audio snippets at the site below under Images/Audio. PGM004 will be coming in 2 months and will include some Ultradyne, Dopplereffekt, and "others". Re: [313] Reese Project "Direct Me"
> the a-side of the edition 2 12" is the Joey Negro mix of "Direct Me". quite > an "up" remix, if you know what i mean. always reminds me of that Take That > track Dave Lee produced, "Relight My Fire"... but maybe that's just me. Not surprising, since "Joey Negro" == Dave Lee. His Direct Me remix is great, btw. That was on another remix release by Network called "Direct Me Remix - Edition 2" that included Direct Me - Joey Negro Disco Blend Mix (A1), Direct Me - Reese Riot Mix (A2), Just Another Chance - Dave Morales Mix (B1) and Station of the Groove - Vice Mix (B2). It also says "Track 1 remix & additional production by Dave Lee" (of course), and here's the kicker, "Track B1 mixed by Jay Denham." The Faith Hope & Clarity package is also on vinyl (though the copy I have is the only one I've ever seen). Plenty of terrific stuff including two Color of Love remixes (but not the UR one, which is really hot, but only on the original issue), Direct Me, the Bump remix of Miracle of Life (another winner), Joey Negro's excellent So Deep remix, and so on. Master Reese, indeed ... Fred PS Something else I never knew -- Dave Lee is Joey Angel is M-D-Emm of Get Acidic/Get Angelic (Transmat), one of my alltime acid house tracks! - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[313] Equinox update!
Well... It finally happened. 1Groove.com has decide to get rid of all the dj's/tp's and some of the exec's. They figure they'll do better with a completely automated format. Fortunately... i've managed to secure a new timeslot at djshows.com. The show will continue on Sunday Nights from 8-10pm EST -starting this Sunday! At Djshows.com all the shows are archived - so you can tune in at your leisure. + They have a chat line, and a webcam (so you can bug the dj's and see what they're up to during the show ) Anyways, the format of the show will pretty much be the same - Techno with some house + guests. Cheers! G - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
