They still do stuff. HMC has left to live in Germany - or was about to when I last talked to him. The Adelaide scene is not so healthy now, there are talented people, but not the support, for techno. It's a small city so it feels the slump hardest. Sydney's Southern Outpost (quality electro and techno) or Melbourne's WET Musik (harder tech) has more prominence now, with Biz-E making his mark, and they all work the publicity angle better, and Oz house (deep to garage) is blowing up. > From: Wibo Lammerts <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: [313] Juice Records.. > Date: 26/08/2002 21:55:32 > To: "'313@hyperreal.org'" <313@hyperreal.org> > > > >> Whatever happened to them? >> >> Wondering, >> >> W > > - > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

It's not terribly hard to find an original LP, either in a used store or on eBay... it was a pretty popular track, and absolutely brilliant I might add. The rest of the LP is pretty interesting as well, but the title track obviously is the standout cut... peace, matt - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: [313] tonight...last minute...Traxx in Detroit!!!
first off, Traxx was awesome. only seven people were there to hear him play. he started out playing some electro. then he found his groove and played some incredible acid house with his trademark frenetic crossfader style. he kept playing Axis-9C (at least four times, not sure if he played all four tracks off of the record). he quit the acid house and moved into some industrial stuff playing two nitzer ebb tracks...and then i left cuz of an interview i had at 9:30. anyways, it was genuinely beautiful experience with a genuinely nice person. the best part of the whole night was Traxx doing bong rips while he played out. his set totaled an hour and a 45 min. genuinely nice stuff. it was recorded and hopefully (fingers crossed) i will have a copy soon. -sam --- Tristan Watkins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Can someone give a report on the Sunday show? [313] I'm back!
Hi 313! I'm back. I originally unsubbed because my mailbox was getting too full. Since then, I've realized how much I miss being informed. So, what records should I pick up that I haven't heard about for the past 4 months or so? What new 313 club nights are going on? Anything else going on? Me: I've just been working, going to school, and crankin' out tracks like rabbits do babies. Kataconda and I have been preparing for our soon-to-be-released on ASR (Acid Sonic Research) vinyl EP that should be hitting the stores next month or so. Keep an eye out for it!!! "Never Buy Texas..." classic Detroit club track/12" which is 15 minutes long. A fave of a whole lotta djs in town... It's an alternate > arrangement from the LP version. Gene Farris sampled this on the 2nd track from his "the fruity green" lp... now I realise that basically all tracks Farris did, use whole arrangements from other songs... thati?s for me a reason to sell some of them and get the orignal.. Can someone give a report on the Sunday show? Last night was poorly attended, but Traxx went off. He did so much more with less. 2 1/2 hour beat workout about sums it up. Normally that description would send me running in the opposite direction, but he injected those records with a whole new life. That man has sick skills, and you never know what to expect.
