Re: (313) submerge sound clips
Maarten Baute said: it's pretty much always around/available... No it isn´t. I never saw a copy of fix - flash on kms in my whole life.. and I´ve seen plenty of records, I can assure you. I can say first hand that it is. I bought a copy only a couple of years back in Sydney, and to find something here (newly repressed), it usually means that its _everywhere_ (about couple of months ago). I think a year or two before that, it also featured on some Carl Cox compilation. But strangely enough, it was about 10bpm slower than my KMS copy. Does anyone know what the deal with that was???
Re: (313) submerge sound clips
I can say first hand that it is. I bought a copy only a couple of years back in Sydney, and to find something here (newly repressed), it usually means that its _everywhere_ (about couple of months ago). Well... I started buying records in 2001 and I never found an online or a local record store who has a copy of fix - flash on KMS. I did found a store who has a copy, but they are selling it for $50. And I just looked on GEMM, and I saw there is a store who are selling it for $35, but I would rather buy it for $10 or something. I would find it hard to believe that it is available everywhere since I really can´t find it. So please tell me where to find it, because I really would like to have a copy of this classic. Cheers, Maarten - http://www.morthenkiang.com
(313) RE: fave Paul Johnson Tracks
A little slow on this one as I wanted to make sure I got it right so checked my copy: 'Uhm C-Town Thang' Vol 1 (EP) - Paul Johnson Michael Airhart (Confidential, Tokyo, 2001) : 'I'm Enjoy' 'Plain Simple' 'I Like To Party' 'Remember Your Love' Awful titles I know! But the tracks are just what you need when you want some tough but melodic, techy Chicago, house. k
(313) ?
Sorry for about this, I'm testing. I'm just wondering why I can't send my choice of Paul Johnson tracks. The message contains no problematic words ... strange. k
Re: (313) rarities found and a few questions about them
this one is not by Steve Rachmad, but by Dylan Hermelijn and Sandy Huner ahh, well. you learn something new everyday! I always thought that was steve rachmad too. nice sounds on that ep, it's so fast though, you have to play it on -6 at least. OK, while we're on the subject of dutch techno MAX 404 - I saw that they had done an ep on eskimo. and it's disco? has anyone heard it? Is it any good? I always liked a few max 404 tracks, but they also used to sound like someone else alot. lots of nice sounds though. _ - End of message text This e-mail is sent by the above named in their individual, non-business capacity and is not on behalf of PricewaterhouseCoopers. (313) pressings of Metroplex
Is there any way to tell the difference between pressings (as in first, second, etc.) of Metroplex records? I found a used copy (in great shape) or Silicon Alley that has a blue label - print on it is fairly large and the sleeve is like a standard EP sleeve except it's printed with Metroplex artwork (greyscale print). RE: (313) pressings of Metroplex
I don't believe there are any markings which signify exactly *which run* of each title a particular piece of wax is; however, if I'm not mistaken the blue center stickers/lables are the more recent runs. If memory serves, they've come out: white, black, orange, and blue-- in that order. I could be mistaken, though. hello all, i have a few Q's on this show, maybe someone has some A's? what is this club wired like? i had a link for a website but cannot find it now. are there going to be pre-sales? the prospect if there are none of driving from lansing, standing in line, the boarder patrol and maybe not getting in is making me question an attempt at the trek. is there anything going down that is a must see at this show? i have not missed a richie show a quite a few years and have not been fully satisfied with that past two city club show's. (the last one being out of there control with the police and all) i would be bummed if i missed a live set. now the show in chicago, what club is it at? any other info? just trying to figure out what to do for halloween and it is looking like the i.t. freak out. but i'm a richie freak and would love to see a live se if that is the deal. thanks in adv. scotto lansing,mi plaztikjezuz.com
