There's an underground party crew here in Sydney that have an old DC-8
cockpit that they cart around to outdoor parties and use as a DJ booth.
It looks super cool.

The legendary British post-punk agitators have enjoyed a critical revival
in recent years with new bands like Futureheads, Bloc Party and Franz
Ferdinand citing them as a massive influence.


Now, the original line-up of Jon King, Andy Gill, Dave Allen and Hugo
Burnham have succumbed to public demand and will reunite for the first time

I wonder how many though?  It doesn't really feature his name on the recent
(poor) version which people I know call the 'Soul Central thing' or
'Whistlebump thing'.  And you may say "well some people will be into it and
look below the surface" but people likely to do that are probably interested
enough in music to have looked below the surface of dance music and heard of
him already?

Actually Derrick recorded a song with a vocal called Hand Over Hand with a
girl called Crystal (sp) some years back. I have only heard the instrumental
version which I thought was wonderful without the vocal.
