From that interview it seems as though he "epic'ed up" the main track
on the ep. Maybe that's the problem.

Having heard the longer clips it sounds like the Sydenhams etc of this
world will lap this thing up.

I still don't like, nice guy or not with the being said, he's got good

my liking. In the interim, I'll keep my $12 for something else that I
deem worthy.

Yeah wicked that was. I'm older than I seem :) I moved to Sheffield
in 1989.

Watching the footage on SB, made me feel well old :)

Richard kinda touched on all the Sci-Fi back in the mid-seventies
on Synth Britannia, you kinda forget how big an influences it
actual was. The Hole In The Road was like some Stargate back then,
good times.

Ah not seen my recording of that yet.

Best program I've seen in a while, there's one on Krautrock this week.

Back to the topic. Nice to see all the options for different formats
on your release.

Give peoples what they want, we've had some great support over the
years so time to give back a bit...

Onderwerp: (313) Wild Kingdom Skewered!

During last week's Wild Kingdom, I made a point of unearthing some of
the stuff that was handed to me during my first investigations of
techno/IDM/ambient in 1993, as well as a few chance/lucky discoveries (
I actually picked up the Philosophy of Sound and Machine compilation at
Tower, of all places). Thanks to the savvy of the person in question
(Mike from Berkeley's Mod Lang Records, who later went on to found Drop
Beat Records) a lot of those early releases were enduring classics,
though I didn't necessarily understand that at the time (especially in
the case of Luke Slater). Anyway, the track listing for that little
excursion is at http://www.kfjc.org/music/playlist.php?i=33797 .
Download archives are available at www.kfjc.org . I may continue this
investigation of early roots material in future shows, keying what I
play based on the special features I presented during May of that
particular year. For those unfamiliar with KFJC lore, May has been a
traditional month for special features of all sorts since the "Month of
Mayhem" was introduced in 1982.You can check out some recent Mayhem
slates at www.kfjc.org . However, this week, I'll be bowing out to
gather my strength for an amateur audio conference happening early
tomorrow. Filling in for me is one of our newer DJs - C. H. Skewer.
Please give him your kind attention.

If you miss a show, or want to sample other aspects of KFJC, limited
time archives for KFJC programming are available at
http://www.kfjc.org/broadcast_archives/ . Send comments and suggestions
to i...@kfjc.org .

"The Wild Kingdom" airs on KFJC-FM 89.7, Saturday night/Sunday Morning,
12A-3A (8A-10A GMT). Potential listeners outside the San Francisco Bay
area can find a webcast at http://www.kfjc.org/netcast/index.php .
Present and past Wild Kingdom playlists are also archived at kfjc.org.
You can also check out archived playlists from my first KFJC show "Just
Desserts" that was on Fridays 10P-2A from 1992 through 1999. Archived
playlists exist for that show starting from Fall 1995 to New Year's Eve
1999/2000, so you can see what what I'm up to these days is pretty much
consistent with what I was up to all along.

If you do tune in (especially via the web), please take a little time to

let me know your locale. I'm also interested in promo music from all
over and in promoting local (San Francisco Bay area) techno-type events.

If you want to do some promotion for an event, contact the KFJC
promotions department at pr...@kfjc.org to arrange ticket giveaways
and/or to send information for inclusion in our concert outlook. Thanks
to those who have sent promo music so far.
