(313) OT: Phonica and the dirt
Am I the only one to be pissed when supposedly new records arrive in the mail and then when you check them they're full of dust, fingerprints and even scratches?? I think it's the second time this happens to me with Phonica. Five out of the seven records I ordered where in poor VG condition, when they should be still sealed or mint... I mean, there's lot of arguments about Juno's 'superstore' kind of service and how you should favor smaller stores, but I've never had similar problems with them. Diplo's 'Florida' LP is one of last year's best albums IMO. Everyone into moody downtempo with Timbaland-ish beats, mixed with abstract jazzy and cinematic tones and carefully manipulated sampling should check it out.
