Coo, yep, got Ursula but thinking more of poetry put to music, or music created around the poem, as opposed to spoken word where in Ursula's case the poetry is written to music. This RADA CD they have put Shakespeare's sonnets to music - mind, there's one Kit Marlowe in there. Some are straight readings by various RADA grads like Robert Lindsay, Ioan Gruffudd, etc. There seems to be a bit of Poe used in music - Lou Reed did an album and then there's that Propaganda song. I think it's an interesting idea, quite difficult, but way cool. I was thinking, could you out Byron to music, that kind of thing? Some of the early Eevolute stuff has a real poetic quality to it- mainly the Vineyard and some of the Wladimir M stuff (he's def. more on the gloomy side)- in the sense that the words are recited rather than sung.
