Re: (313) San Francisco this weekend
on the 313 tip is Kevin Saunderson at Temple on Friday. the scene there was pretty Las Vegas the one time I went (to see Stacey Pullen and Derrick May a couple weeks back), but the main room sound is pretty impressive. - Original Message From: Detroit Techno Militia [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: 313@hyperreal.org Sent: Tuesday, September 25, 2007 1:31:54 PM Subject: Re: (313) San Francisco this weekend Thanks for all the info. :) I'm looking forward to the trip. Las Vegas about sums it up... The sound lacked mids during the May/Pullen night imo, but to each his own... Re: (313) San Francisco this weekend
Amoeba of course! It's not really a dance vinly store, but it's so huge that there's often more dance vinyl there than there is at a real dance music store. If you put in the time to comb through the racks there's always some obscure gem to be had. If you happen to get over to Berkeley the Amoeba there has different stock. I found way more great dub vinyl in Berkeley than in the SF store. I'm not really up on the rest of the SF scene, but every trip to SF should include a trip to Amoeba.
