If I remember correctly, this was written in response to the well publisized incident where Rich's party in Windsor was stopped by the forces that be. Hehehehe, I can also remember Rich saying something in an article about undercover cops following him around all day to see where he was going to try and set up the party. Great investment of tax payers money there. md --- darw_n [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: It says it's richie's mom, but, I don't know, seems odd... darw_n... ... :i: explore. Re: [313] did richie's mom write this?
The letter was originally printed in the Letters to the Editor section of the Windsor Star. I think she wrote it in response to an anti-rave/electronic music rampage a local politician was on as well as the incident with Rich's party. The politician, MPP Sandra Pupatello, proposed an anti-rave bill in parliament (which fizzled and died quickly). Her and her staff also at one point told the owner of a club I was working for here in Windsor that We have no problem with dancing. It's the music. It makes people do drugs and has subliminal messages in it. End quote. No lie. From: MD [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: 313@hyperreal.org Subject: Re: [313] did richie's mom write this? If I remember correctly, this was written in response to the well publisized incident where Rich's party in Windsor was stopped by the forces that be. That letter is HILARIOUS! Richie's really a freak, boy! What kinda commie pinko parents are that? (just kidding...). It's cool, though. My folks are kind of like that. They were crazy hippies. Jason, Your tax dollars may not be going directly to Canadian Law enforcement, but if your American your are contributing by drinking Canadian water and (in California) using Canadian hydro-electric power. If I'm correct (someone corrrect me if I'm not) both water works and hydro-electric power aren't yet privatized in the States. Therefore your federal tax dollars are being doled out to Canada for these commodities. Sh*t, we givin' money to Canucks? I want a tax refund! I'm writing George Bush, TO-DAY! I do not want to be paying no Mounties' salaries, no mo! But, seriously now, I'm sure what you're saying is probably true in many senses. I don't know about drinking water though. Perhaps some states, maybe Michigan? I live in NYC and I'm pretty sure we get most, if not all of our water from several reservoirs in upstate NY. Not that I'm about to drink that sh*t anyway, even though it's supposedly some of the cleanest city water in the nation. I'll go buy me some Poland Springs instead for $5 a bottle :) -J Jason, Your tax dollars may not be going directly to Canadian Law enforcement, but if your American your are contributing by drinking Canadian water and (in California) using Canadian hydro-electric power. Sorry for flogging a dead horse, but it's kinda ironic that about a year ago the 'forces' were all about suppressing rave culture, now they're letting corporations embrace the culture and use them for profit - go figure (can you say money makes the world go round!). Sorry that just popped in me head after reading this! Disclaimer - I'm using the term 'rave culture' VERY loosely! Pieces.
