Well I got to listen to a bit on a radio rebroadcast. It sounded good!

Anyone else catch the Stardust bassline/track during Holiday??

Odd that since she's a Michigan native no one mentioned this event until
after the fact.

I attended this concert. It wasn't really what i was expecting though. Since
I haven't really had a chance to listen to her latest cd except for the
singles that have come off of it I heard alot of new material. It was a
great show although I didn't know that she had picked up playing the gutair.
The Stardust/Holiday track was really put together well. I was rather
impressed with the Kraftwerk reference also. I also expected more dancing
and some older songs but oh well It was a great show. I couldn't believe
all the limo's outside on Sunday night at least there must have been like a
thousand +. The crowd was rather eccentric and since I took my mom it was a
huge but entertaining culture shock for her. I wanna know though what city
exactly did she grow up in I heard both Waterford and Rochester Hills but I'm
just curious.

Re: [313] how was madonna???

2001-08-28 Thread Glyph1001

I caught it Live via HBO and recorded it. There was a pre-show
which showed Madonna had learned the guitar and it was hosted by that
duff or McDuff chick, forgot her full name...she was a former
mtv vj or announcer and did those Almay cosmetic commericals.

All 'round, good show.

We just had the Detroit show on TV in New Zealand.

I only caught the last few of songs, but picked up on the Stardust thing
too. There was a bootleg 12 mixing Music Sounds Better with Holiday, wasn't
there? A nice nod I thought...

How about the Kraftwerk rip on the start of Music though?

Not to say she wasn't down with Kraftwerk/Bambaataa back in the day, but
this may have come courtesy of Jacques lu Cont from Les Rythmes Digitales --
who's in her backing band I believe...
