Fwd: [313] mail order question

2002-07-29 Thread - BT -

Neil,

I ordered from Submerge recently and it took about 3 weeks for the package
to arrive in Scotland. I would guess it just depends how many orders they
are getting and what other projects they are working on.

I recon with the new website and the amount of labels that they have added
that they are focusing on this just now so I would say give them a try.

I also got a bunch of flyers etc - including an invite to The 10th Birthday
party of Metroplex (I think its a bit late but its a nice thing to have ;-)

Cheers
BT

hi

have any europe peoples had any experience ordering from submerge? theres a
few things i want to get and im just wondering if its worth just trying to
track them down from various places here in the uk or if submerge are
reasonably fast at filling orders?

cheers

I usually ship priority air mail, which is a little more expensive (approx.
$14-$20) but still reasonable. Packages usually arrive in 6-8 days this
way

Plus I mark everything as a gift which apparently allows it to bypass customs
(not really sure about this)

It's also pretty important to keep the value as stated LOW or else the
person at the other end is going to have to pay a tax on it.

it's been a few years ago since I ordered the last time, but there
wasn't any problem.
mail-contact was friendly [some guy called "submerger" IIRC],
orders were processed quick and took 6-8 weeks to get to germany.
that's because of land/sea shipping, air-mail should be in europe in
about a week...
so, thumbs up for Submerge IMHO, but things could be different nowadays...

[BTW: another "plus": they included stickers and such a stuff] :)

take care,
Stefan
