-Don't know if this helps but there was an interview in Generator-magazine
couple of years ago ('96/'97?), which explained those issues and a had
little biography; how she got interested in the music and so on... And how
she eventually left Detroit because of the attitude other (male)producers
gave toward her.
Acacia was first named UK House records but eventually name was chanced
after two releases (I think?). Both were by Etat Solide (K. Hand). Fine
releases both of them.

There are some interviews in techno.de from Frontpage but alas, they are in German --> Babelfish can only do me so much good, you know? I am interested in any opinions, perspectives... thoughts on her production technique... how she is perceived. I need this information for a paper I am writing for my women's studies class. So... if anyone has $0.02 to share... or who might be able to help me out with a biography or something about Ms. Hand, I'd appreciate it muchly.
