i think drama 1 was repressed. i thought i saw it on groovetech mailing list. nice track. i was just listening to the 2LP on drama yesterday. i forgot how fresh the piano tracks are on the C side. they remind me of some a couple piano tracks off larry heards Loves Arival. i just got the new point blank cd, hoods got this track that almost sounds like dan bell. slower 120bpm, lots of click/clack sounds... with deep synth sounds very minimal its called "the body human". that track and Who tought you math IMO the best tracks on the cd. i listened the the new mills cd today. im impressed. its got a every dog has it day feel to it. mills has this new melody style with some of his newer stuff. such as time machine. the only way i can describe it is melody with randomness...it works though. out ryan burns From: "Trevor Wilkes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: "Trevor Wilkes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <313@hyperreal.org> Subject: (313) RE: [313] What would you consider to be your rarest 313 record? Okay this maybe among the most rare. Dopplereffekt put out a 7" prior to any 12" releases. I don't actually own it. The copy I've seen belongs to a friend, who also owns a 12" by a pre-drexciyan - It must date back to the 80's, and features some of the same drum programming heard years later on the Wavejumper EP. hmm, this raises interesting question. i own this one-sided golden colored 10" of Inner City - Ahnongay on 6x6. it only has the original mix. i wonder if it's rare? does anyone else have it? iirc the 12" with the dave clarke etc remixes came at least year after i bought the 10". sakke -- random rants and links at: http://www.arabuusimiehet.com/sakke/
Re: [313] What would you consider to be your rarest 313 record?
erm...I got the next release on Digital Soul records that I haven't released yet or sent to anyone, plus I'm thinking about signing one :) Seriously though... UR - Revolution For Change *CD* [according to Dan Sicko this should > > Not really rare, it was released on the now defunct dutch Go Bang! > label. It sold really well here in holland, got airplay on dutch > radio a lot when it was released, well not prime time :) I was never sure about this, I got it on double vinyl when it came out on Network in the UK. Always thought it was pretty rare, but didn't know it had been licenced to Go Bang. I kinda thought the only reason UR licensed all those tracks in the first place was down to Neil Rushton and his relationship with Detroit back then. Network used to release some incredible stuff back in the early nineties, who remembers 'Take me away'?? Plus all the old Nexus 21 stuff, some of that has gotta be kinda rare these days I would have thought. Someone also mentioned Trak x as a one sided 10 inch. Is that the same Trak X by Hawtin on Probe Records? My copy is a 3 track with a trak y on it as well. One of the best records Hawtin has put out. On the subjext of Hawtin, how rare are some of the first pressings of the first plus 8 stuff, We Shall Overcome, Technarchy, FUSE- Technotropic etc? Re: [313] What would you consider to be your rarest 313 record?
hmmm... off the top of my head: All of the early Plus 8 records on white label with Richie Hawtins handwriting listing the artists and tracks. The first "From Our Minds to Yours" comp on *colored* vinyl The first (and only) record on Alan Oldhams first label "Tek... something"/ Also: the Retroactive Records "Night and Da" compilation on vinyl in mint condition. I *think* it's pretty rare. thinking about selling it too. sean > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Date: Thu, 19 Sep 2002 12:34:40 EDT > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Cc: 313@hyperreal.org > Subject: Re: [313] What would you consider to be your rarest 313 record? > > First pressing white label of Designer Music > Autographed vinyl copy of Detroit: Beyond The Third Wave compilation > Project X bootleg of Blake's "Sexuality" on Matrix > Techno: The New Dance Sound Of Detroit on Ten > to name a few... > > pw >

I already had a copy of it for playing. This was given out as part of the short-lived Transmat newsletter in the mid-90s. Only lasted about three issues, but I got a bunch of records. Probably the only unopened record I have. Tristan = Text/Mixes: http://phonopsia.tripod.com Music: http://www.mp313.com Contact: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
