u sure? Nearly all the young bass heads are in awe of Kevin Saunderson and it's definitely him they mean when they say a Reese Bassline. Can't think of any who actually admit to liking Alex Reese ... he's almost akin to Adam F to them ... Did you know Alvin Stardust is Adam F's dad? -Original Message- From: DJ Entropy [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, January 25, 2002 11:18 AM To: '313@hyperreal.org'; Jongsma, K.J. Name another Adam F classic, except Colours :o)? ... OK, I admit, he's the guy people into DnB love to hate. Not always justifiably. But it's true that he doesn't have much of a body of work behind him - compared to say someone like Ed Rush ... AF's making a packet now as a hip hop producer ... good for him. -Original Message- From: DJ Entropy [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, January 25, 2002 11:49 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Org; Odeluga, Ken Subject: Re: RE: RE: Re: [313] inside out 1/25/2002 6:46:36 AM, Odeluga, Ken [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: u sure? RE: RE: RE: Re: [313] inside out
i played drum and bass for 5 years and was pretty into that scene in Boston, where i lived at the time. other dnb head friends from coast to coast pretty much all respected adam f. but then again, most dnb people love to hate almost anyone anyway, admittedly. colors metropolis brand new funk were all adam f anthems, all from around the same time though. good to see he's moving on. lk On Fri, 25 Jan 2002, Odeluga, Ken wrote: Name another Adam F classic, except Colours :o)? ... RE: RE: Re: [313] inside out
doesn't it all depend on how it is spelled?? Reece-Kevin Saunderson Reese-Alex Reese? or something like that. i could have it backwards. i know they are both big names in their respected genre's, but i think the names are spelled backwards... but then again i could be wrong as usual... jeff -Original Message- From: DJ Entropy [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, January 25, 2002 3:18 AM To: '313@hyperreal.org'; Jongsma, K.J.
