Re: (313) record purchases

2005-08-24 Thread Carlos de Brito
hmm, not much 313-releated, but anyway, found some nice rekids in two
record stores in a german city called bielefeld, here we go:

# the juan maclean - tito's way doublepack (dfa) incl. lindstrom & prins
thomas mix and reverso 68 remix

# henrik schwarz - jeff (zeppelin rec) awesome! (check it alex!)
# andré kraml - safari (crosstown rebels) incl. holden remix

some cheapos:
# feel - i'd like to (sutra) for 99 eurocents
# mfsb - love is the message lp (cbs) 4 euros
# fugazi - repeater lp (dischord) 3 euros
# disco from another galaxy - space project (rca/victor) 6 euros
# stevie wonder - masterblaster 12inch (motown) 4 euros
# gina x - no g.d.m. (gigolo) 99 eurocents
# kerrier district - dito (rephlex) 9 euros!!! slept on this soon-to-be
classic, found a copy at least, hooray!

and, last, but not least:
#va - techno - the new dance sound of detroit 2x12" (10 Records), in
near mint condition. no... i can't tell you the price, it was way to
cheap. ;)

Just received the new Agoria 12", can't remember what it's called but
it's on PIAS/Different.

Not been a big fan of his in the past but this is quite good in a
Deep Burnt sort of way. Could see it achieving similar levels of
popularity as well.

Even less 313, but a track that I'm slightly obsessed with at the
moment is from Bitstream's new 12" on Touchin Bass. The A2 track
(again, can't remember the name, sorry!) is AWESOME! Exactly the kind
of downtempo hip hop techno that I love. Don't sleep on this one.

Back directly on topic I was given a big wodge (new word?) of Motech
12"s earlier this month. Really enjoying the Drume and Red Line EPs
from this series and I believe that the next release will be by
Gerald Mitchell (all the previous ones have been by DJ 3000).

Arne Weinberg - Assimilation Fault Data
Gerald Mitchel - Bellydancer
B Calloway - Space Dancer
A Guy Called Gerald - white label thingy
Dynarec on Kondi
the new Monolake

Just in and not listened to yet:
Shawn rudiman on dust
Arpanet album
DJ Yoav B - Boogie down Saturn (yes LATE but never
managed to track it down until I check the nomorewords
shop - idiot)

On Route from rainy (I guess) manchester:
Amp Dog Knight : Over U - 12"
Beatconductor : Amanhanga / Son Of Barabas / Let The
Music Play - Reworks - 12"

I thought you had given in to the fact you were beyond
help mate ;-)

Here are the answers to your previous 2 email on this
one to avoid clogging up peoples inboxes with music
related chat.

RAD always have some good techno in but their web site
is still getting sorted (it had better be the best web
site in the world once its fixed the time its taking).
Best bet is to get on the weekly (sometimes) mailing
list with the creme de la creme of the new releases
with .mp3's - im sure Jason can sort that for you.

As for the Black Future release on Motech no idea who
it is.

Anybody know where I can get this, or what online shops carry Touchin'
Bass???

I just tried PlanetX in the US, and Juno and Nuloop. None of them have
this. And as you might expect, I'd really prefer to order it in the US,
but maybe that is asking too much.

I need to get that Bitstream Domestic Economy double lp while I'm at it,
that one at least seems to be around (still might require ordering from
Europe).

There was only one track on Domestic Economy that I really got into,
