Yes, the Giant Lake bass WILL have its own credit
card-but it's Diners Club-as Visa turned him down.
This move is in support of his appearence on the
Miller Genuine Draft stage, world tour and Mix
 CD-due
out on Moonshine in July. Sausage baskets will be
handed out as promotional devices to encourage
 people
 to chose meat over fish.

duh. that's right before the techno flame throwers and
the barcardi bunnies spinning IDM.

I'm ALL for supporting the artists of detroit, and the
art that ties in...but I find it odd how she announces
this right after The People from Good Homes
event...four words:

Detroit Electronic MUSIC Festival.

not to mention the underground stage isn't the best
place for a fashion show.

Speaking of Bacardi, I guess I didn't drink, or I don't recollect, but
what was the alcohol like at last years festival? Was there none at all?
Seems to me like that would be a major reason why there weren't any
incidents at last year's fest. I can't wait for drunk frat boys to be
spilling their beer on me and cursing autechre hey you homos, where's the
steady beat? or yelling at Juan Atkins to spin some skynrd man!!!

There was beer, but you could only get one at a time, and the line was
about an hour long sometimes so it wasn't worth it. They stopped selling at
11PM too.

All this talk about revised schedules and still no HPDJ. Depressing.

I figured HP would work out a deal with Ford so that they could
integrate their technology with the robot from the Focus commercial and
that would take over all DJing duties for the festival next year.

The HPDJ failed to get its contract to Carl in time...
it has been dismantled and is now whipping up some great margaritas for
Carol on her trip to Mazatlan.
