Hello sir, that's really a haunting good news we all have been expecting for long! it's news of a great lease especially for University students and certain employees. we hope freedomscientific will ensure to incorporate all other original features into the Hindi version of JAWS. given the vast amount of Hindi fonts in use being written in different styles, Freedomscientific should try to make the impending version recognise as many of them as possible. According to them it should run in bios? Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer unveiled the iPhone-like touch-screen feature at The Wall Street Journal's ``D: All Things Digital'' conference, calling it ``just the smallest snippet'' of the Windows 7 operating system slated for release in late 2009. A Microsoft employee showed possible applications like enlarging and shrinking photos and navigating a map of San Diego by stroking the screen. Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates framed the new feature as an evolution away from the mouse. ``Today almost all the interaction is keyboard-mouse,'' Gates said. ``Over years to come, the role of speech, vision, ink _ all of those _ will be huge.'' The software company's top two executives defended its last operating system, Vista, while acknowledging missteps. Gates said he has never been 100 percent satisfied with any Microsoft product, and that the company prides itself on fixing shortcomings in later versions. ``Vista has given more opportunity to exercise our culture than some products,'' he deadpanned. The former Harvard University classmates fielded a range of questions for more than an hour, sharing the stage as Gates prepares to relinquish daily responsibilities at the company in July to focus more on philanthropic work. Ballmer said Microsoft remained in discussions to team up with Yahoo Inc. after Microsoft's $47.5 billion (euro30.14 billion) bid for the company was spurned earlier this month. He said Microsoft was not planning to buy Yahoo but offered only the barest details of what he has in mind. ``We are not rebidding for the company. We reserve the right to do so. Hullo list, I would like to know about writing dvd in windows xp. I have tried following the same procedure as writing the cd. But it did not worked. Then I have tried using nero but I could not do the same. I want to write the data dvd. Can please anybody tell me about it. I am using jaws 7 with windows xp. Hi Amar It is of no use now for DOS under Windows, Jaws works fine. Jaws for DOS can be run on old systems which hadSB16 Creative soundcards and you have a functional driver for it. The file System should be FAT. The OS should be DOS 6.11 or earlier. So, my dear this is the reason why it is not running for you. hi madam u can record the books using a speech recording softwares. such as audio grabber or windows sound recorders or jet audio. using a microphone. the voice quality is high and it is very much clear if u can record them in a non-noisy place. Respected All, I have one quary. As I saw in Texture India, That supernova was there with the Hindi synthesizer. And as per my knowledge, they were using Lekha as their speech synthesizer. But since freedomscientific has purchassed Lekha, so now can supernova release its Hindi version? Or they can't use Lekha in their Hindi version?
