hope u all r fine I have a problem doubt Please help me I got overall good marks but this was exceptional for my geography, Hindi math papers. I don't really worry about my math Hindi as such as even my principal mam had also told me that not to opt these above subjects to take exception from it but unless I do those subjects, I will not become a perfect student later a scollar unless I do the basics of these subjects I will not have an idea of these concepts. So, I opted even every one agreed to me I got fair marks in math, hindi also but in geography, I got c grade. So, I sent my geography for revaluation. In ICSE geography paper a normal person is suppose to do 2 questions which r practical one for 30 marks but I cannot do that as u all know the reason. So, I didnt do that but instead of 2 map work questions I did theery questions which was for 40 marks. I did 10 marks extra. secondly, a normal person is suppose to opt among 9 questions 5 but I am not normal. So I wrote all 9 questions which was for 90 marks. In fact this was full theery questions. Actually even I had to write only 5 2 map work questions but I wrote 9 theery questions as I was told to write the theery questions from my principal my school that too all theery which was each 10 marks allocated. So, overall to say instead of 2 questions of map work, I did 4 questions of theery extra behalf of it Now the problem is, I have done every thing but the board didn't give marks for it. So, what should I do? I have even mentioned on the paper that instead of map work I am attempting all questions of theery even which is optional So, what can I do? This morning, when I launched Firefox 3.6, instead of the familiar Alert, you are logged on to Webvisum welcome message, I got a server connection error. So I visited a web page that contains an image captcha, but when I attempted to submit it to Webvisum for decoding by pressing Alt-Control-numrow 6, nothing happened. And the solve captcha option was not available on the context menu either. I visited www.webvisum.com, and was dismayed by the following message: NOTICE: This domain name expired on 06/19/2012 and is pending renewal or deletion. This web page is parked FREE, courtesy of GoDaddy.com I don't know much about Go Daddy, but I think it is a web hosting service. From the message, it sounds like Webvisum's domain name expired yesterday, and the Webvisum site is apparently gone. I certainly hope that this isn't the case, and that this is just a temporary glitch. But what if Webvisum is really gone for good? Are we blind users going to be forced to rely on sighted help from now on to solve image captchas? Or will we have to struggle with incomprehensible audio captchas that don't work most of the time? News Service - In a significant move, the Delhi High Court has issued a directive exempting public sector bank employees with at least 40 per cent disability from routine transfers and has added even in most special cases the transfer should be in or around the employee's hometown. A bench of Chief Justice B.C. Patel and Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul made these observations while hearing a petition by V.K. Bhasin, an employee of State Bank of Patiala, who was disabled in a road accident. After a number of surgical procedures and being bed-ridden for over 10 months, Bhasin re-joined the bank in Dehradun in 1997. Three years later he was served Transfer Order to proceed to Varanasi, which he objected to on the ground of his disability. The bank, however, asked him to produce a medical certificate stating that he could not travel, but the Chief Medical Officer of Dehradun turned down the request for the certificate. Incidentally, the bank didn't even permit him to opt for the Voluntary Retirement Scheme. Three years later, Bhasin approached the Delhi High Court but failed to get any relief from the Court as his medical certificate stated his disability to be only 28 per cent. Following this, Bhasin challenged the certificate itself and claimed that procedures were not followed. Later, doctors at Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia hopsital examined him three times and found him to be 40 per cent disabled. Dear friend, please go to the bank and show them the rules regarding the banking facilities which we can use. make them awaire about it. A phone call should not be the end of the battel you should go there and meet the bank manager and talk to them regarding this and get a bank acount. If you are not getting a positive responce then go to some other type of bank they might allow you. Every bank should allow VI to creat a acount in the bank. The ICICI ATM machine which was in Mumbai and Pune deployed in the year 2002 has had 3 language options but it would not be possible for non-ICICI users to access its facilities. What is more it was not wheelchair friendly. 4. The Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) has also deployed an excellent model of a talking ATM machine however the locations are not wheelchair friendly and SCB only offers English to its users. This ATM can be accessed by any bank ATM card users 5. Banks like State Bank of India have come out with some talking ATM machines however as of now access is restricted to only special SBI ATM card holder to trigger accessibility mode. They are soon going to change their policy. 6. The current UBI ATM location itself is accessible for many disabled people as its in the campus of BPA and also has excellent tactile markers and signage. 7. I was part of the XRCVC team that visited the BPA Vastrapur facility and I can say with confidence that it has lived up to the XRCVC ATM accessibility checklist requirements, as almost all the criteria have been fully met. In fact based on the field report that we submitted both UBI and NCR have already implemented corrections on the basis of some of our observation. But I have been provided ATM and cheque book from the same bank even 4 years before, after complaining to RBI. Earlier they were not excepting my application, but later on I was called to provide the same facilities. (Visually impaired) has been printed on the leaves of the cheque book.
