Hello Friends
I am having few doubts regarding Disabled coaches in train.
Please clarify my doubts.

1. Some Trains are having Disabled coach and some do not.
How to know which trains are having Disabled coach?

2. Some Trains are having disabled coach in front and some are having it
at last
How to identify whether it is attached eaither back or front?
Is it possible to get these information from any websites?

Re: [AI] Neighbour rapes 12-year-old blind girl

2012-12-14 Thread akhilesh
Hi Ekanath,\

You have raised a very valid point with regard to the time taken in
jusstice delivery system. I’m finding it difficult not to comment on
this issue. .

As you know, these type of cases fall under the criminal offences, and
government is responsible for aranging the lawyers for victims.
needless to say, in most of the cases public prosecutors are highly
incompetant or salable for a few bux. A person has the right to
choose the lawyer of his or her own choice, but this exists in statute
books only.

Social or human rights lawyers often face such difficulty when working
for justice to victims. In rarest of the rare cases special public
prosecutors are appointed, for which, one has to really work hard!!!

Other members working in legal field will of course, correct me or
clarify if I’m missing something, or adding extra!

There are many features which are not available on Mobile version, so
please don't advise to stick with mobile version only.

Re: [AI] Neighbour rapes 12-year-old blind girl

2012-12-14 Thread Ekinath Khedekar
If our justice system was prompt we would have been a better country,
better society. I am studying law and can't stop wondering that
majority of the provisions illustrate how an accused should not be
treated unfairly. THe only respite to victims are a meagre punishment
awarding clauses.

I pray and hope it will soon change at least through judicial activism
as mentioned my Mukesh if not through parliaments where --- keep
glabbering, example, Mahanoobhav Shri. Shri. Laalu Prasad Yadav.

Re: [AI] required information use of software/technology in CWE of IBPSin dec 2012

2012-12-14 Thread Shona Man
Oh! one more qualification added to the scribe that he should be well
aware of computer operation. why they didn't provide computer with
screen reader when they are providing the computer to be used in exam?
It would be more easy for those who know computer well, however one
option could have been there to take the help of scribe if one is not
comfortable with screen reader. since these people has to work on
computer in banking environment then it was very well fitted into the
nature of service.

How to identify whether it is attached eaither back or front?

[AI] Blank cell formula if not true

2012-12-14 Thread Mukesh
Hello Friends,
I have created a if formula in cell w5, x5, y5, z5
When the condition is not true the formula cell displays the text 'false' in
the cell. I have concatenate formula in cell 'aa5' for these 4 cells
respectively. Which gives me the abbreviation of these cells. At a time there
is only 1 condition is true in these 4 cells and 3 cells displays the text
'false' which gives me the wrong abbreviation in cell 'aa5' for ex.
'falsefalseakfalse'. I want to display the text 'ak' which is true and hide
other 3 cells containing the text 'false'. That means when there is a text
'false' in that particular cell the cell must be blank automatically and give
me the result 'ak' only in cell 'aa5' instead of 'falsefalseakfalse'. Please
guide me how to tackle this problem because the abbreviation in cell 'aa5' is
important for calculation. Thanking you in anticipation.

Hi,

1. Grab a Linux live cd. GRML works nicely.
2. Boot from that and see if you can access the device.

3. If you can, pull the files from the drive. If you can't, make a
forensically safe image using the dd utility and then experiment on that
image.

Subject: [AI] Blank cell formula if not true

Hello Friends,
I have created a if formula in cell w5, x5, y5, z5
When the condition is not true the formula cell displays the text 'false'
in the cell. I have concatenate formula in cell 'aa5' for these 4 cells
respectively. Which gives me the abbreviation of these cells. At a time
there is only 1 condition is true in these 4 cells and 3 cells displays
the text 'false' which gives me the wrong abbreviation in cell 'aa5' for
ex. 'falsefalseakfalse'. I want to display the text 'ak' which is true and
hide other 3 cells containing the text 'false'. That means when there is a
text 'false' in that particular cell the cell must be blank automatically
and give me the result 'ak' only in cell 'aa5' instead of
'falsefalseakfalse'. Please guide me how to tackle this problem because
the abbreviation in cell 'aa5' is important for calculation. Thanking you
in anticipation.

[AI] Experience with online shopping with JAWS

2012-12-14 Thread Rakesh

Dear Access Indian Friends,
One of the barriers that a persons with visual impairment come across is
shopping groceries. I too fall in the same category. Going up to the
super market is one difficulty

and second is finding the required item.
Found interesting website BigBasket.com interesting. I have put down my
experience with bigbasket at

Friends who live in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad can give it a try.
No endorsement to Big basket. Its just my experience.

Dear Srikanth,
I would rather say a good discussion on Access India mailing list (hope
it is not off topic) else you can put your comments on the blog itself.
We can take it further togather.
Also let us listen from our experienced friends like Vasu, Rajesh
Asudani, Harish etc to let our voice heard to Bigbasket.

[AI] cell formula if not true

2012-12-14 Thread Singhal, Vivek
Dear Mukesh,

This email is in continuation to what zoher has stated in the previous email.
Excel consider "blank space" as an entry so it is proposed to modify the
formula mentioned by zoher as:
=if(a1>=35,"pass","")
In the above line I have removed the blank space between the last two " signs
i.e. instead of quote space quote you can only write quote quote (without a
blank space).
This will ensure that no value is stored in the cell in case the condition is
false.
It may be noted that for excel even a blank space is a valid entry (although
it is not visible in printouts or screen)
You are requested to read my email in continuation to zoher's email only.
Hope above helps.

Regards,

Vivek

> Subject: [AI] Must listen - Yaado ka edit box on Big FM
>
> Hi,
>
> I wanted to share that Big FM at 9 PM has been showing a fantastic
> heart touching story telling programmed "Yaado ka edit box."
>
> The stories are read out by Mr. Nilesh Misra who is just a perfect
> story teller. The stories are such that you will reach a bottom of
> your heart where an emotional being lives away from whole day's
> hussle-bussle.
>
> I am sure at least few of view must be listening this programmed and
> if you have recorded any stories, do kindly share with me. If not then
> do please listen to it from today onwards.
>
> I am sure you will like it.
>
> Do visit Nilesh Misra's "yaad Shaher".
>
> Please record or tell me how can record.
>
> Cheers
