Firstly, I had created a folder in which all 13 MP4 highest quality
episodes in video were there and I have given the link for the same.
You should be able to download it directly.
The folder is quite heavy about 1.5 gb.
Tell me if you need seperate download links for each episode.

Re: [AI] [jnuvision] questions to Abidi sir

2014-02-01 Thread avinash shahi
I just came across this status of Javed then I also responded let us
read what he said:
block quote
NEW DISABILITY RIGHTS BILL UPDATE; 31ST JANUARY: We had a good meeting
of the Joint Forum today evening at AADI. The mood was defined as
'cautious optimism' The clouds have lifted and there is great hope.
The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill will be tabled in Rajya
Sabha on Wednesday, 5th February, 2014. By doing this, the Government
would fulfill our key most demand to "Save the Bill". In any case, the
bunch of misdirected souls who wanted to "Kill the Bill" have mostly
fallen silent. Their desperate attempt to misguide the Nation has
failed and thank God, rightly so. NOW, we can focus on where the focus
should have been in the first place: On how to strengthen the present
draft Bill or let's put it this way - on how to reduce/remove the
lacunae that have crept into the Cabinet approved Bill. Some very
serious anomalies, no doubt. The very definition of disability, the
entire very complex issue of legal capacity, the deep concerns
expressed repeatedly by disabled people in government jobs vis a vis
promotions, and so on. As you are aware, the Joint Platform worked
tirelessly in Delhi and over 3 meetings, drew up a list of 20 non
negotiables (while we were being mocked at and being called names!).
Relentlessly, as if possessed, we have pursued our POSITIVE AGENDA of
ensuring that India finally gets a rights based law for it's 70+
million disabled citizens. We want the Bill to be passed with the
amendments as suggested by the Joint Platform. So far so good.
Ministry of Social Justice is supporting us and the file has already
moved. Once again, the ball is in the court of the Law Ministry. Let's
see. By Monday or Tuesday, we should find out. My hands are firmly set
on my wheels. Ready to take off! Of course, with a very silent prayer
on my lips.
block quote end
Once I read this I responded...
Mr Javed Abidi People have some burning questions from you. Once you
didn't know about the contents of the approved Bill why didn't you
inform persons with disabilities whom you claim to represent that you
didn't know anything about the Bill? Laws are not framed on emotional
grounds law-making is very complex process. this Bill has many
inadequacies and once enacted in current form disabled people will
lose hugely. And remember you were very jubillant prior the Census
figures about disabled people got released? why Government has
overlooked World Bank figures so outrightly? you say you are in the
disability sector over the last 20 or odd years there are many who are
fighting hard for last thirty or thirty five years. Don't misguide
please we read laws we know laws... What you want ticket? please don't
play with the lives of innocent disabled people.

[AI] Getting difficult to partition the C drive

2014-02-01 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafel
Hi friends in my laptop C drive consists of 153gb, which I want to
split into two parts, 53 and 100gb each. only 37gb of this space is in
use. I am using Win 7 professional registered version with jaws 14. So
far I have tried through disk management, it is only shrinking the
sise of the drive but not splitting this drive into two parts. And
this disk management is giving predefined sise upto which it can be
shrinked. Say for e.g. it is giving me 21755mb for shrinking which
made my drive to 131gb from 153gb but didn't make new drive. More over
I tried through AOMEI partition assistant pro edition, but it seems
not compatible with jaws. Please help me to split my C drive into two
parts, as I have 110GB free space on my C drive.

[AI] Leaked disability bill doesn't match with website version - The Times of India

2014-02-01 Thread Poonam Persedi
National Association of the Blind|Joint Forum for Disability
Rights|Disability Rights Bill|Disability bill

Persons with disability from across the country are coming to Delhi to
hold a huge demonstration on February 3 under the auspices of the
Joint Forum for Disability Rights to urge the government to pass the
Bill after incorporating the amendments.
RELATED
* Rally against delay in tabling of disability bill
* Sensitizing people about the needs of deaf-blind people
NEW DELHI: Disability rights activists from across the country have
come together to demand that the government incorporate crucial
amendments to the new Disability Rights Bill before introducing it in
Parliament on February 5 and passing it. A leaked copy of the bill
created a furore as activists realised that the Bill readied to be
passed was not the draft available on the ministry of social justice
and empowerment (MSJE) website, but a diluted version.

"The Bill in the current form is not just a negation of already won
rights and the recent judgment of the Supreme Court in the matter of
jobs for persons with disabilities but militates against the United
Nations Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD),
which it claims to harmonise with," said a statement issued by a Joint
Forum for Disability Rights at a press conference held on Saturday
morning. The Joint Forum comprises several disability rights
organizations who have come together to fight for bringing about
amendments in the proposed Bill.

"The government seems by and large in agreement with the 20
recommendations we have given for amending the Bill and seems willing
to incorporate them. The MSJE has sent the recommendations to the Law
Ministry. We hope our belief and trust is not betrayed by the
government,' said S K Runta of the National Association of the Blind
(NAB), who added that the disability sector was never taken into
confidence when the changes to the draft of the Bill available on MSJE
website were made.

The definition of disability in keeping with the UNCRPD, legal
capacity and provision for guardianship, especially for persons with
psycho-social and intellectual disabilities and provision for an
effective grievance redressal mechanism were some of the aspects of
the Bill on which the activists sought amendment.

Javed Abidi of the Disability Rights Group pointed out that activists
across the country were holding candle light vigils and dharnas to
press for the passing of the Bill without realizing that it had been
diluted and many changes were made because a copy of the Bill was not
shared with the disability sector.

He added that political leaders across party lines, including BJP's
Arun Jaitley, CPM's Prakash Karat, UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi and
several others had promised that since the Bill was non-political,
they would ensure that it was passed, if it was introduced in
Parliament. "We are extremely nervous. We hope before the Telengana
issue comes to Parliament, and other controversies happen, the
political parties, both ruling parties and those in the opposition
will ensure passage of this bill. The fate of millions of persons with
disability depends on the new law coming into force," said Abidi. The
disability rights activists were also assured of support in getting
the amendments incorporated and in passing the Bill by Congress vice
president, Rahul Gandhi, who met them on Saturday morning.

Persons with disability from across the country are coming to Delhi to
hold a huge demonstration on February 3 under the auspices of the
Joint Forum for Disability Rights to urge the government to pass the
Bill after incorporating the amendments.

Re: [AI] Nazar ya Nazariya - Radio Show

2014-02-01 Thread George Abraham
These are not new shows. These are radio adaptations of the shows that were
shown on TV. There are a number of persons who might not have seen the DD
telecast. Many of them do not have access to the internet. We believe that
the radio broadcast will reach out far into the hinterlands of India.

Best,

George
