Re: [AI] How to get a restricted title of bookshare
1. Search it on sugamya or call any participating libraries to find it. 2. Search it on torrent websites if its there. 3. Ask you classmates if they have hard copy. Take high resolution images from your camera or scanner. And do ocr. 4. If you cant do this then buy a copy of the book and send to any organisation involved in making accessible books. Re: [AI] Citrix, Silverlight, Screen-readers and some technical questions
Hi Amar, Since I have never used Citrix, I am unfortunately not in a position to answer your technical questions. I would, however, make two points: 1. For track changes and comments, the use of quick keys can be a possible solution. As you may be aware, you can turn on quick keys by pressing insert+z and then press r to jump from one revision to another. For comments, I find that windows key+; works well for me, but I recall you stating that you are not sure of its reliability. That being said, the documents which I have worked with in track mode typically do not exceed 30 pages and I mostly suggest revisions as opposed to incorporating them, so my experience in this respect is limited. Further, the one skill that helps me most in this exercise is my memory to recall how an earlier version of a document was with the requisite level of exactitude. 2. I would strongly suggest that you cross-post this on the BlindLaw mailing list; I typically get very informative responses to questions that are unique to the legal profession in that mailing list. [AI] Slightly OT but gmail pop question about downloading
Hi friends, I am facing a strange problem: I was downloading a bunch of 100 or more mails in Windows Live Messenger from gmail using pop3. This is what I do daily without problem. However, this one time the signal broke and the downloading got disconnected. From then on, I am only downloading one or 2 mails at a time. I know there is a process to rectify this but have forgotten the same. Could some kind soul help me please? Sorry for trouble and thank you in advance.
