Hi Sir, Great to hear...
But how do you differentiate the Talkback voice when the TV programme
is running? Will the volume MUTE button mutes only the TV programme
volume or the talkback voice also gets muted?

Re: [AI] Please guide, Should I buy iPhone 8 plus or Blackberry Key2?

2018-06-14 Thread john clayton
Hello Rishi,
I understand your confusion entirely, and went through the same thing
that is whether I should opt for IOS or android for a while.

I believe I have said this before, and will say it again, I have used both
android and IOS extencively, and whilst I see the great strides google has
been taking towards accessibility, its no where near the eas of use that
ios has.
Apple is a walled garden to be sure, that is no transfering songs through
bluetooth (a feature I miss deeply), no sd slots to increase the storage
with, but those are the only gripes I can think of when I compare the 2 in
favor of android and ios.

The features you are most interested in, that is productivity, email and
browsing etc, are areas where IOS excels at, although android isnt as bad
in those as it used to be. Still you have to fiddle a lot with android to
get it to work as you would like it to (installing uninstalling accessible
/inaccessible apps, changing the launcher etc), where as on IOS all you
need is the device in your hand.

Touchscreen typing is slower than that of qwerty keyboards to be sure, but
with practice you could get cloce.
The braille screen input that ios has though can make you just as fast if
not faster than the qwerty keyboard, depending on how well you know your
braille Alphabets.

So I would if I were you lean more towards the Iphone 8 plus rather than
the blackberry, but if you feel you can not simply make do without a qwerty
keyboard, check with any existing blackberry users as to its UI being
accessible or not, issues if any and go for it if they dont mention any
issues.
Hope that helps you some and good luck with whichever phone you end up
getting.

Hi Poonam,
Depends on the money you are willing to spend, really but if I were in your
place, I would go for the latest moddle I could. Be it a Iphone 8 or 8 plus
(The X is all well and good but cant use it in a manner as I have grown
accustomed to) 7 plus or the 7 and so on

The more newer the moddle the longer it will last that is recieve updates
not longevity.
However Apple provides update to devices that are over 4 years old and then
some, so no worrys on that account, really.

TLDR; go with what you can aford.

Thanks to everyone for liking my narrative. It can only happen when
you were greatly connected with an experience and enjoyed it from the
heart. In this regard, I shall always be thankful to Mitrajyothi ,
Banglore for teaching me basics of mobility with white cane in just 4
days. We can not forget the teacher who taught us alphabets even when
we are awarded a doctorate degree. As others, I also depended on a
word of mouth reference for on boarding Bat Travels. It was Subham
Arora from Delhi who instilled confidence in me for taking this trip.
I thought it should not be a case where there is a beautiful service
on offer for the blind, and it is the demand side of things that is
lagging behind.

I am using primary screen reader as NVDA and secondary screen reader as JAWS.

this. Message starts… “alert display of tab content is disabled due to
incompatibility between Firefox and your accessibility software.
please update your screen reader or switch to Firefox extended support
release”…. end of error message.
I have uninstalled the Firefox and tried but I am getting the same

Now friends please guide me with the solution for this challenge
because I need to take an online test which is very important for me.
You can suggest me to use other web browsers but the link in which I
have to take online test will only works with MozillaFirefox.
My questions are. 1. Is there any solution for this challenge? Or
should I go for older versions of Firefox. 2. If not that how can I
reach out to MozillaFirefox extended support release without
uninstalling MozillaFirefox?
I tried my best to be as clear as possible in explaining my challenge.
Just weighting to here positive reply from you all.

Would suggest Iphone if you want to avoid the learning curve.

In short, BlackBerry is just not worth its price

You wont be able to type as fast as you do on nokia phone either on

Re: [AI] How TV and satellite channels became accessible in my home

2018-06-14 Thread Prashant Ranjan Verma
This needs to be investigated. there are many android TVs in the market.
what we need to find out from the manufacturer is if they support any
particular set top box.
the tv remote should work with the dth set top box and it should have a
integrated program guide.
unfortunately even though the tv may have all this, one will actually need
to test whether or not it works with talkback.

Subject: [AI] How TV and satellite channels became accessible in my home

Dear all,

I have been able to get a talking TV and more importantly get screen reader
access to the list of channels and program guide of Tata Sky, one of the DTH
service providers. This is how it became possible.

1. Purchased Sony Bravia Android TV. My TV model number is Sony
KD-49X7500E. I think other models in the Sony Bravia Android series should
also work.

2. Activated Talkback on the TV. It required sighted assistance to go into
the settings and accessibility option. After Talkback started, I have been
able to use the TV menus and its Android OS independently with the remote
control.

3. YouTube, Netflix and many other apps are pre-installed on the TV. I can
search and play programs with the help of Talkback. This TV also has voice
search function and it is very accurate. Amazon Prime video app is not
working with Talkback.

4. This TV has a feature which allows it to detect connected Tata Sky set
top box. The Tata Sky can be operated with the TV remote, once setup there
is no need to use the Tata Sky remote, you can do everything with the TV
remote.

5. The TV has a pre-installed app called Program Guide. This app can be
opened to see the Guide which lists the channels with current programs or
one can also view list of programs by different genres. Talkback works
properly here. One can browse through the list of channels and programs and
select them to view.

Additionally now I have been able to connect my TV with Amazon Alexa. The
Sony Bravia and Alexa support each other. Sony has a app on the TV and Alexa
has the skill which need to be configured.

Now I can just ask Alexa to Switch On the TV, Volume up/mute, ask Alexa to
put a channel number on the TV. Even switching channel name is supported.
For example Alexa change channel to Times Now on TV. However, saying the
name always does not work. This is probably also because there are so many
similar channel names such as Colors, Colors HD, Colors HD plus etc. ,

I wish we get talking set top boxes soon. but for the time being I have a
working solution in my home.

thanks,

Prashant Ranjan Verma

[AI] How TV and satellite channels became accessible in my home

2018-06-14 Thread Prashant Ranjan Verma

You can’t get android’s keyboard facility and IPhone’s comfort at
 the same time.
While android is improving every day and there is nothing that you
can’t do with android and can do with iPhone, still many of people
find iPhone is much easier and accessible to use especially when
 they don’t have budget constraint.
So best for you is to get an iPhone.

Re: [AI] Independent tour: Sikkim tour with Bat Travels!

2018-06-14 Thread Tony Kurian
Hi all,
Just read this well written narrative by Vamsi and thought I should
share my experience with Bat Travels. I was fortunate to be part of
their first trip. It was a paragliding to Kamshet. From the word go,
it was fun till the end. As Vamsi mentioned, everything was described
to us and all safety measures were taken in advance for paragliding.
As a blind tourist, I had missed out on many adventure activities in
the past on account of my disability. The Bat Travel team of Ritu and
Divya had made all the arrangements prior to our visit so that I did
not have to keep telling people about how they should not be
apprehensive about my disability.
I was a part of two more of their trips. One was a beer tasting event
and I could touch and feel multiple ingredients which go in to making
different kinds of beer. The third one was a night camping at Karjet.
We had floating and hanging tends, and some amazing live music. Again,
sighted travellers and teem Bat Travels explained everything in detail
to me.
Having been a part of three of their trips, here are some general
observations. They give priority to our dignity and for me it meant
having the pride of being independent. The groups always became
friendly in a short time and I never had inhibitions about asking
something or sharing any of my concerns. It was like travelling with a
group of friends. Ritu and Divya even being new to the sector
demonstrated some remarkable inclusion. So Ritu has a blind friendly
laughter and Divya comes with a bag full of annoying questions, and
they always made sure an inclusive travel experience. I liked the fact
that I could explore something new through Bat.
Cheers,
TK

 Hi friends,
 Really need your help.
I need to make an important decision regarding my next smartphone.
So I really need all of your help for the same.
I'm confused and want to make sure that I take the correct decision.
since it is not a small investment, i want to make sure the hard earned
 money is well spent.

So I want your valuable inputs to help me to make a choice between
Blackberry Key2 or iPhone 8 plus.
Its oK if you all have differing opinions on this, I think it will help
me to make an informed decision.

One of my relatives is coming down from the U.S next month and I have
 to
tell him about my final decision so that he can go ahead and order the
phone so that it reaches him in time.

As some of you may be aware Blackberry has launched its latest version
called Blackberry Key2, which is an upgrade from their last year's
 blackberry Key1.
It will be available in the U.S by the end of this month and pre-orders
 have started.

Blackberry key2 comes with the following specifications:
 Processor: SnapDragon 660
 RAM: 6GB
 Storage: 128 GB
 Dual SIM
Micro SD card slot to expand to 256GB.
 Price: $700

To see a youtube hands onn review of the blackberry key2, check out the
 following link:
 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li7Yovb6kpo

And the iPhone 8 plus, as you all know, comes with the A 11 bionic
processor with 3gb of RAM, and I'll go for the 64gb model.
 Price: $799

The only reason why I'm thinking about the Blackberry key2 is because
 of
its physical QWERTY keyboard. And the 52 short cuts that it offers on
 the
physical keyboard would make things really productive I think.
I still like tactile physical keyboards. Believe it or not, I still use
 my
old Nokia E5 for calls and sending sms and making notes because I'm so
used to the physical keyboard and I'm pretty fast on it while typing.

But my real confusion creeps in when I compare Android with talk back vs
 the iOS with voice over.

I have never used an iPhone.

People say that iOS with voice over is more intuitive, can be used with
much more ease, the accessibility is better etc, and updates are better
since Apple controls both, the software and hardware.

My main purpose for having a good smartphone is for business use. For
productivity. Reading webpages on the go, reading, drafting and replying
to emails, reading and replying to whatsapp messages, using facebook and
 twitter, making calls etc.
So I'm looking for a hastle free smooth experience. Productivity is
 key.

I'm not a geek and dont have the time to explore things, make changes &
 tweeks on my phone.

In my Moto X 2nd gen, which I got 4 years ago, I'm experiencing a lot
 of
lags with talk back. I do not know the reason for this, Is it because of
an old processor or the 2 GB RAM or no more Android or talk back
 updates,
with the Android version stuck to android 6 marshmallow an

Hi
Seeing AI has now an update, it recognizes Indian currency.
To use it change the channel to currency and tab on button if it reads
dollar. Thereafter you get a chance to change to Indian currency from the
default dollar.
Thereafter you keep the phone about 6 inches away from the currency, You
don't have to click anything else, it will use the back camera and speak out
the value.

Does RBI plan to give IPhones to all blind persons in the country with this development!?

Seeing AI app runs only on IOS. There is no need forinternet to do this
task.

Harish.

*HE IS SPECIAL BUT HIS CARS ARE NOT*

By Anjana Vaswani, Mumbai Mirror | Updated: Jun 14, 2018, 05.35 AM IST

[image: He is special but his cars are not]

*Double amputee Chetan Korada, the world’s only differently-abled race
driver to have won races and a series, refuses to drive specially adapted
cars.*

He must have been about a year and a half, Chetan Korada estimates, when he
was fitted for his first pair of prosthetics, and though he can’t recall
what the Jaipur Foot felt like, he does remember that the aluminium
prosthetics he was fitted with at around age 10 were excruciating. “I used
to be fitted with new prosthetics every year or two and my legs would bleed
until they adjusted to the new devices,” the 31-yearold told Mirror
yesterday.

Korada, who was amputated below the knees shortly after birth, owing to a
bone defect, was in Mumbai for a two-day visit, a brief holiday from the
relentless training that has turned him into a leading race car driver over
the last decade. Last week, Korada returned from Malaysia after testing the
Formula Masters track, where he completed 120 laps, in preparation for two
forthcoming, international races – the MRF Challenge which will take him to
Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bahrain in November 2018, and a yet-to-be-confirmed
Southeast Asia Pacific series, which will kick off in July.

“If the Asia series does not work out, the MRF Challenge will be my first
international race,” says Korada, who lives in Chennai’s Kilpauk area.
Despite his disability, Korada has been making it to the podium (the top
three ranks) in national races and series since 2009, when he was the
second runner-up in the JK Tyre Junior National Championship in Chennai –
most recently, he was second runner-up in the Federation of Motor Sports
Clubs of India’s (FMSCI) National Rally Championship.

Korada isn’t the world’s first differently-abled driver to participate in
the high-risk sport – Britain’s Nicolas “Nic” Hamilton, for instance, who
suffers from cerebral palsy, has participated in championships, as has
19-yearold double amputee Billy Monger. But Korada is the only one to have
made it to the podium in rallies, and the only one, worldwide, who does not
drive specially adapted vehicles (those fitted with hand-operated controls
for the brake and the clutch).

“I want to experience exactly what any other race driver goes through, down
to the same Gforce (the powerful gravitational force that race drivers
experience as the cars accelerate in relation to freefall). For the same
reason, I don’t wear prosthetics with spring mechanisms. I want to feel the
push-back of the pedals like other race drivers,” said Korada, whose legs
are fitted with lightweight, carbon-fibre prosthetics of a European make
that he said, “together, cost as much as a superbike.”

He credited his mother Padma, 55, with encouraging him to press forward
‘whatever my dreams were’.

“I had taken up painting at one stage, I have worked as a DJ for eight
years, and even gave hairstyling a go for a time, but cars have always been
a passion. If anyone ever told me I could not do something, my mother would
say, ‘Ignore him. Do it and we’ll face the consequences, whatever they may
be’.’’

He recounted, “When I wanted to play football, for instance, and someone
said I could break a leg, she said, ‘Worst case scenario: you’ll break the
prosthetics. We’ll get new ones.”

Korada said he did play football for a time, and was even the basketball
captain at The School KFI, where he completed his schooling.

QNet, the multinational marketing company that his mother works for,
started sponsoring Korada since 2011, when he started 12th (among 23
drivers) in the Formula LGB 1300 rally, and finished first. The same year
he was runner up in the Kart-1series and in 2012, he went on to win the
Mini Enduro and Sprint race.

While his mother has been a constant source of encouragement, Korada told
Mumbai Mirror his skill has been honed by Chennai’s Quantum Leap
Performance. “For the last two years, I have been training for two hours
every day, engaging in custom-made hybrid exercise plans, and following
diet programmes that the company has devised. I also use their racing
simulators to practice, in addition to spending two hours a day on my own
simulators to explore new cars and circuits,” said Korada, who is confident
that he’s on the right track to win the international titles.

bone defect*

*Kol woman with cerebral palsy may be first to adopt a baby*

Jeeja and husband with their bundle of joy

Kolkata: Ballygunge resident Jeeja Ghosh, 48, has become the first person
born with cerebral palsy in Kolkata — and possibly India — to become a
parent through adoption.

Motherhood was a dream that Ghosh, born with the condition, nursed since
she got married in 2013. But little did she know the hurdles she would have
to face before being considered fit to adopt a five-month-old girl. Last
Thursday, after an epic struggle, Ghosh welcomed home a girl child —
lovingly called Bhujungu and Sonai at home — to her ninth-floor flat at the
Saptaparni complex on Ballygunge Circular Road.

Ghosh, a Presidency College graduate and Delhi University postgraduate, and
her husband, Bappaditya Nag, a law officer with Syndicate Bank, applied for
adoption in 2016. Madhusmita Nayak, programme mana- ger for the specialised
adoption agency project at Keonjhar’s Self-Realisation Mission (SRM), from
where the child was adopted, said the baby was born in January 2018 and was
abandoned at a Keonjhar hospital. “We don’t know about her biological
parents,” Nayak added.

It was love at first sight for the couple when they saw the yet-unnamed
child at SRM. But it needed multiple trips to Keonjhar to convince the
adoption committee that Ghosh could be a responsible care-giver. “We
submitted a fit certificate but the committee told us this certificate was
not acceptable because it had to be issued by a medical practitioner,” Nag
said.

It was an uphill struggle from there, but the couple finally succeeded.

Re: [AI] Narrator as a screen reader come of age

2018-06-14 Thread Dinesh Kaushal
I agree that training organizations could look at providing some orientation
about Narrator.

One of my recent experience is illustrative.

My laptop crashed a couple of times due to faulty hard disk and I had to take
data out of my system. Since my windows was not starting, I could not operate
my laptop independently. I then found out that windows 10 has a feature known
as windows to go. Windows to go prepares a flash drive for bootable installer,
and Using another software I could create a bootable flash drive. Once my
laptop booted from the flash drive, I could operate my machine independently
with the help of narrator. Unfortunately, windows to go has some restrictions
so one can only install apps that are downloaded from windows store which means
I could not install NVDA. This problem would be solved once NVDA is available
from the windows store, but it takes some time and assistance to download
software from the windows store. On the other hand, starting narrator is only
pressing a few keystrokes.

If someone has such a bootable drive with them, he or she could operate on any
computer.

I also agree with having multiple options for screen readers as multiple
options encourage competition which helps the products to improve.

At the same time, I think narrator still has a long way to go before it could
become a full time screen reader as mentioned by Prashant.

Subject: Re: [AI] Narrator as a screen reader come of age

Hi All,
Great to see this dialogue on screen readers and what do we teach and what do
we use.

Here is my two bits and I won't go to the point of saying teach one or another:
- We need to ensure that students have an early initiation to Screen Readers.
They should be able to access technology as early as their peers. What we have
to teach is the concepts of the screen reader! For example, what is a desktop,
what is a start button, how does it behave, what is a page, how can we use the
calculator. At that stage, even a Narrator is great as exposure. Let's
understand that Narrator is getting better. It is already in the operating
system, it has no additional cost. I honestly believe it is the right step at
schools.

- As the needs of the person increase on what they have to do, then the choice
of screen reader is based on what they want to do with it. If the usage is for
Excel and at that point NVDA or JAWS is better for their work, that choice
should be theirs and based on the use case.

I think instead of worrying of which is the right screen reader, we need to see
how to make screen readers that important tool early on in students lives.

After teaching loads of people computers and hiring lots of people with
disabilities, we need people to be agile in their use of technology. In
technology, you have to be able to adapt.

I hear Vasu, when he says reasonable accommodation. But I also know that as
organizations we decide what technology a person will use. That is the reality.
You find some people say we use a particular software as an organization, must
be as simple as Skype for Business and another might say we use Zoom for the
same purpose of online conferencing.
We need to be ready to explore different solutions.

Regards
Shilpi

George,
Here is a link to Keyboard commands of Narrator:

Harish, I respectfully disagree to the point if organizations have
restrictions to downloads applications such as NVDA; that's a reasonable
accommodation and organizations cannot deny. Until Narrator comes to a
decent level where we can use on usual applications like excel etc., I
would not prefer providing this as an otpion to use at organizations.

Thanks,

Re: [AI] Please guide, Should I buy iPhone 8 plus or Blackberry Key2?

2018-06-14 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafay
Go for iPhone if you want simplicity and intuitiveness. There are
learning curves in android, blackberry keyone is not that much fast as
used to be nokia phone in typing. You may likely face few difficulties
while typing even, as the phone is larger than nokia qwert, difficult
to type with one hand, keys are not easily distinguishable from one
another, and same will be in key2 despite it would have 25% larger
keys than key1.
You wont be able to type as fast as you do on nokia phone either on
blackberry or iPhone. I have been user of all three platforms for
years, found nokia much much faster in typing. presently using key1
and iPhone simultaneously.

For information transactions iPhone is better I feel. Have a large notes to
type? Braille screen input is a great feature where you can use it for
typing as well as quick navigational purposes on home screen and web pages.
I do also have a spare android. In my experience, You can really
differentiate it when real time usage comes. Once you have iPhone I don't
think you need any extra accessories. This might be the short note. Please
revert for more information off list.

Subject: [AI] Please guide, Should I buy iPhone 8 plus or Blackberry Key2?

Hi friends,
Really need your help.

Its oK if you all have differing opinions on this, I think it will help me
to make an informed decision.

One of my relatives is coming down from the U.S next month and I have to
tell him about my final decision so that he can go ahead and order the phone
so that it reaches him in time.

As some of you may be aware Blackberry has launched its latest version
called Blackberry Key2, which is an upgrade from their last year's
blackberry Key1.
It will be available in the U.S by the end of this month and pre-orders have
started.

Blackberry key2 comes with the following specifications:
Processor: SnapDragon 660
RAM: 6GB
Storage: 128 GB
Dual SIM
Micro SD card slot to expand to 256GB.
Price: $700

To see a youtube hands onn review of the blackberry key2, check out the
following link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li7Yovb6kpo

And the iPhone 8 plus, as you all know, comes with the A 11 bionic processor
with 3gb of RAM, and I'll go for the 64gb model.
Price: $799

The only reason why I'm thinking about the Blackberry key2 is because of
its physical QWERTY keyboard. And the 52 short cuts that it offers on the
physical keyboard would make things really productive I think.
I still like tactile physical keyboards. Believe it or not, I still use my
old Nokia E5 for calls and sending sms and making notes because I'm so used
to the physical keyboard and I'm pretty fast on it while typing.

But my real confusion creeps in when I compare Android with talk back vs the
iOS with voice over.

I have never used an iPhone.

People say that iOS with voice over is more intuitive, can be used with much
more ease, the accessibility is better etc, and updates are better since
Apple controls both, the software and hardware.

My main purpose for having a good smartphone is for business use. For
productivity. Reading webpages on the go, reading, drafting and replying to
emails, reading and replying to whatsapp messages, using facebook and
twitter, making calls etc.
So I'm looking for a hastle free smooth experience. Productivity is key.

I'm not a geek and dont have the time to explore things, make changes &
tweeks on my phone.

In my Moto X 2nd gen, which I got 4 years ago, I'm experiencing a lot of
lags with talk back. I do not know the reason for this, Is it because of an
old processor or the 2 GB RAM or no more Android or talk back updates, with
the Android version stuck to android 6 marshmallow and talk back stuck to
version 6 etc or a combination of all these factors. Its become very
sluggish and the experience is not smooth.

One of the questions that I'm thinking about is, do I go for the Android
environment with talk back or the iOS environment with voice over But then
I really like the physical keyboard of the Blackberry key2..
And then I wonder, what is the point of having a physical keyboard if
android with talk back is not as intuitive as iOS with voice over?

And then I became aware of this screen protector, the embossed speed dots
screen protector for iPhones.
https://www.speeddots.com/
So then I wonder Will this embossed screen protector fulfill my need for a
tactile keyboard to some extent?

But then some say, android with talk back is not bad. and then my mind
again likes to go for the blackberry key2 with that great physical keyboard
which has 52 short cuts to enhance our productivity.

So I'm confused with all these thoughts.

Friends, if you were me, which smartphone would you go for between these 2?
And why?
A great physical keyboard or no physical keyboard?
Android or iOS?

I want the smartphone that I buy to last me for the next 4 to 5 years at
least.
Having invested this amount, I dont want to think about it for the next 4
years at least.

So friends, please help me, because some of you have used both android and
iOS.
Should I go for Blac

[AI] Please guide, Should I buy iPhone 8 plus or Blackberry Key2?

2018-06-14 Thread Rishi Kewalramani
Hi friends,
Really need your help.
I need to make an important decision regarding my next smartphone.
So I really need all of your help for the same.
I'm confused and want to make sure that I take the correct decision.
since it is not a small investment, i want to make sure the hard earned money
is well spent.

So I want your valuable inputs to help me to make a choice between Blackberry
Key2 or iPhone 8 plus.
Its oK if you all have differing opinions on this, I think it will help me to
make an informed decision.

One of my relatives is coming down from the U.S next month and I have to tell
him about my final decision so that he can go ahead and order the phone so that
it reaches him in time.

As some of you may be aware Blackberry has launched its latest version called
Blackberry Key2, which is an upgrade from their last year's blackberry Key1.

Price: $799

The only reason why I'm thinking about the Blackberry key2 is because of its
physical QWERTY keyboard. And the 52 short cuts that it offers on the physical
keyboard would make things really productive I think.
I still like tactile physical keyboards. Believe it or not, I still use my old
Nokia E5 for calls and sending sms and making notes because I'm so used to the
physical keyboard and I'm pretty fast on it while typing.

But my real confusion creeps in when I compare Android with talk back vs the
iOS with voice over.

I have never used an iPhone.

People say that iOS with voice over is more intuitive, can be used with much
more ease, the accessibility is better etc, and updates are better since Apple
controls both, the software and hardware.

My main purpose for having a good smartphone is for business use. For
productivity. Reading webpages on the go, reading, drafting and replying to
emails, reading and replying to whatsapp messages, using facebook and twitter,
making calls etc.
So I'm looking for a hastle free smooth experience. Productivity is key.

I'm not a geek and dont have the time to explore things, make changes & tweeks
 on my phone.

In my Moto X 2nd gen, which I got 4 years ago, I'm experiencing a lot of lags
with talk back. I do not know the reason for this, Is it because of an old
processor or the 2 GB RAM or no more Android or talk back updates, with the
Android version stuck to android 6 marshmallow and talk back stuck to version 6
etc or a combination of all these factors. Its become very sluggish and the
experience is not smooth.

One of the questions that I'm thinking about is, do I go for the Android
environment with talk back or the iOS environment with voice over
But then I really like the physical keyboard of the Blackberry key2..
And then I wonder, what is the point of having a physical keyboard if android
with talk back is not as intuitive as iOS with voice over?

And then I became aware of this screen protector, the embossed speed dots
screen protector for iPhones.
https://www.speeddots.com/
So then I wonder Will this embossed screen protector fulfill my need for a
tactile keyboard to some extent?

But then some say, android with talk back is not bad. and then my mind again
likes to go for the blackberry key2 with that great physical keyboard which has
52 short cuts to enhance our productivity.

So I'm confused with all these thoughts.

Friends, if you were me, which smartphone would you go for between these 2? And
why?
A great physical keyboard or no physical keyboard?
Android or iOS?

I want the smartphone that I buy to last me for the next 4 to 5 years at least.
Having invested this amount, I dont want to think about it for the next 4 years
at least.

So friends, please help me, because some of you have used both android and iOS.
Should I go for Blackberry key2 or iPhone 8 plus?

As I mentioned, One of my relatives is coming down from the U.S next month and
I have to tell him about my final decision so that he can go ahead and order
the phone so that it reaches him in time.
since it is not a small investment, i want to make sure the hard earned money
is well spent.

Looking forward to many of your valuable inputs,
Apologies to pass on this confusion to you all,
Many thanks in advance for your replies that I'm really looking forward to,
Sincere regards, Rishi.
