[AI] Accessible coins!
As per directions from the Delhi HC the GOI and RBI are in the process of developing a new set of coins with particular emphasis of the coins being accessible. These new coins are likely to be launched towards the end of 2019. I have seen the prototypes and I can say that each coin is distinct and easy to identify. This I believe is the first step towards having accessible coins and currency notes. Celebrating Louis Braille birthday Jan 4th. Re: [AI] Suggestion required for purchasing an accessible mobile within a budget of 10, 000. rs
Hi sujatha, under around 10k the asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 would be my pick if I were to choose. I have used this previously and it has no accessiblity issues that I was able to find, and it does have decent specs and a near stock android with none to no bloatware at all. hth. Re: [AI] Looking for research participants for a research on emotional need
Hi, Thank you Radha For showing interest in the research. The interview shouldn't take more than 10 15 minutes if that at most. If you let me know the time and such you'd prefer unless there are other interviews at that point of time I should be able to do it at your convenience. Thank you once again. It fits on the top fold of the cane and detects obstacles from knee to head height up to three meters. The device uses the ultrasonic rays and alerts the users about the obstacles through different vibration patterns. As one gets closer to an obstacle, the vibrations intensify. The device has two modes for navigation which are out door and indoor. In the latter, the detection happens up to two meters. The device provides feedback using total four different vibration patterns when used in outdoor mode and three in indoor mode. The device uses chargeable battery which can run up to a week with the normal usage of three-four hours a day. Hope this helps. Feel free to write back on/off list to know further.
