Hi Ankit,

As far as I am aware, even your organization has copyed idea of Misan

As they were also offering the online classes as you have separated from them
and using the same idea as their’s and utilizing it in common. Do you have. So
before pointing fingers on others please check yourself as well.

I think you do not have copyright for doing so.

Think the focus seems to be shifting to mobile from PC. I am not sure
at all that is the right direction to take.
By the way, I just noticed that my previous mail got send multiple
times as my chair had jammed the enter key of the keyboard. Sorry for
the inconvenience.

 Hi Pranav,
Thank you for the response. Yes, I have been using Kibo, and it surely
 is
promising. I read about Kibo desktop recently, but I have tried it out
 only
 on Android so far.
I have felt that for major educational requirements, you still need the
computer. Don't know about the iPhone environment, but text selection,
 and
even many other basic requirements are rather difficult on Android. By
 the
way, KNFB Reader on Android is an utter scam.
It is so sad that Kurzweil Educational Systems have stopped the
 development
 of K1000.

I use the knfb reader for my recognition needs but am keeping a close
eye on kebo because it is moving in promising directions with respect
 to image recognition.

If you are using an iPhone, voice dream reader with voice dream
scanner may come close to what you need with note taking features etc.

Re: [AI] Any ways to use Google TTS on Windows Screen Readers?

2020-11-17 Thread Vaibhav Saraf
Hi,

I don't think an NVDA add-on can be made. As good as I know Google TTS is
not open source.

Also this used to be on the NVDA's list some time back but was closed due
to technical infeasibility. Refer this bug:

https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/issues/3251

In Windows Core Voices we have English India, Hindi and Tamil till now.
Although I had tried English India and Hindi and was not satisfied with the
voice quality. For Hindi Kalpana voice is somewhat better though.

Thanks,
Vaibhav
