Re: [AI] Told OTP, Amazon showed delivered, but I received nothing

2023-10-05 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafay
Shadab it was a big mistake on your part to share OTP with out
actually accepting the package in your hands. Usually in mobile phones
its open box delivery wherein delivery partner unbox the packet to
show whether mobile phone is inside the packet or no. In these
circumstances you should immideatly complaint to local police station
and also to the amazon customer care to investigate the matter
further. Multiple otp may go in your favour and the actual location of
the delivery partner may also relevant. If there is any cctv camera at
your building or streat, it might help in investigating the matter. If
you have the call recording with that person, you may keep for the
futuer.

Re: [AI] Google Drive Query

2023-10-05 Thread Minar Singh
Hello Ram,
It is bit difficult and costly to recover the lost documents from the Hard disk.
Let us come to the point on how to upload the files/folders on google drive.
If you are using the basic HTML view, then press insert +f7 for link
list then press letter d for drive and press enter. You are in google
drive. Press letter B for new menu submenu then press spacebar to
expand and use down arrow and up arrow key to explore the options. 1st
option is folder if you press enter on that a new folder will be
created. 2nd option is file pressing enter will allow you to upload
the file from your computer and the 3rd option will allow you to
upload the folder.
If you are using the standard view, then press letter b till you get
the google apps then keep pressing the tab key till you here drive and
press enter and follow the above-mentioned steps.

Re: [AI] Will persons with disabilities enjoy the ICC World Cup coverage?

2023-10-05 Thread Sandeep Singh
Hey Shruti, once again a timely reminder that the society cannot
afford to leave out an important segmentof mainstream events. I've
been asports buff since childhood and even after losing eyesight, I
continue to follow sports around the world. Name it and I'll be there
following the everyday happenings, old records broken, new records
established and so on, be it cricket, tennis, football, golf, squash,
badminton, F1car racing, boxing, wrestling, gymnastics, atheletics and
other indoor and outdoor sports and games. I have regularly presented
sports analysis programs on All India Radio (and briefly on Radio
Udaan, too). Print media is more accessible yet you often struggle to
get the information you want. And electronic media, as yumentioned, is
mostly so inaccessible. Wish they make these coverage more inclusive
and accessible.
Thank you for taking this up.
Warm regards
Sandeep

RE: [AI] accessible device to heat water

2023-10-05 Thread george.abraham0
Well, I use the Micro Wave. I place a glass of water into the Micro Wave. Touch
the lowest button twice and the water heats up to the level I need for drinking
warm water.

One needs sighted help the first time.

Hey, Someone suggested Electric kettle and I think that's a great option for us
to heat water without sighted assistance. Also, porring watter in to glass or
cup, it is just a matter of practice. I am totally blind and many like me
(myself included) can successfully pore watter in cups without anyone's
assistance. Like I said, it's just a matter of practice.

Very pertinent. A set of protocols must be developed for sport broadcasters to
follow when covering sport.

Re: [AI] accessible device to heat water

2023-10-05 Thread Saurav Hegde
Hello Aman sir,
I do not cook as well but I think I can still help you in this regard.
I am not aware about accessible heating devices but I can share tips how to
make a microwave accessible, for the basic heating part.
If you have a sited person with you, simply ask them to stick small round
plastic objects or bindis on the start and stop button, which will enable
you to touch and press them.
Also, microwaves have a number of seconds predefined for which they heat
the water, depending on the number of times you have pressed the start
button.
Ask a sited the preedefined seconds and then, I know this may sound silly,
but cound the seconds slowly to approximate the time the microwave has ran
and stop it after that.
Hope this helps.

Warm regards,
Saurav Hegde

Re: [AI] Told OTP, Amazon showed delivered, but I received nothing

2023-10-05 Thread Minar Singh
Hello Shadab,
You should never share OTP with anyone. If you were not available at home
then you could have asked the guy to come later specifying the exact
time/day. You can go to the order section and find courier details and file
a complaint with the Courier company and Amazon also. Please do it at the
earliest. I hope you haven't deleted the OTP and courier boy's mobile
number while filing the online complaint and try to provide those details.
Do take a screenshot of those messages and save somewhere in Ms word file
for proof.

Re: [AI] Told OTP, Amazon showed delivered, but I received nothing

2023-10-05 Thread Sunil Sangtani.
hi,
a correct OTP means the product is delivered acording to amazon, no matter what.
did you received a message that your phone is delivered? how many
time and how many OTP has came?

you might need to do a long fight to get your money or phone back.
call me off the list, may be i can help.
