But one thing is that they wont allow me to come to the counter if they see me walking in the cafeteria then they catch my hand. But that is for washing my hand's. Dear all, How are you? I wanted to ask a question. That is when you are working in your office and when the fire drills while you are eating your food then What will you do? What are the steps that we can take? For example/ In my office the Cafeteria is on the 9th floor. I have to get out of the building. What can I do? You may say to use the steps but if the steps wont have railing then What will you do? And if the sighted person starts running and if he doesn't take you then what will you do? According to Mr Rajeev Sangal, Director of IIIT, the project, which has been funded by the Ministry of Information Technology, will be ready in the next two years. “You can talk to the mobile phone. Suppose, anybody does not know reading or writing, they can dictate the phone the SMS, which they would like to send. They should be able to speak it out and then the phone will convert it into text and send it as a message,” Mr Sangal told PTI. According to him, seven other institutions are currently working on this project. Mr Sangal said the technology will be useful in mobile phones, which have smaller screens and keyboard, making it difficult to type letters. The speech lab of the IIIT aims to develop robust speech systems for applications, such as speech translation, phonetic engine for Indian languages, speaker recognition for biometrics, and dialog systems in speech mode, a senior faculty member said. HP is fine with 750 gb hard disk and 7 gb ram. With excelent sound cards and a good speaker quality. The only problem is the battery. Dell is also nice for her.
