Re: [AI] NVDA SOund Going through Google Meet

2021-11-20 Thread Siddhant Arora
At the time of meeting you can go to settings of the meeting and you can
select a different microphone option. Now it depends on the audio driver
which microphone option will ensure that voice of screen reader does not
reach audience present in the meeting. Generally the last option works what
has not worked for me is external microphone option and default microphone
option. The third option has always worked for me.

Hello list,

Lately I am facing an issue with Google Meet wherein participants of my meeting
can hear NVDA or Jaws sound coming from my PC. I don't remember having changed
any setting on my system or Google Meet. I am using Google Chrome with
Windows10. Using Edge browser the issue is minimal, i.e., if the volume of the
system is low the sound is not being heard, whereas in Chrome this is happening
regardless of the volume of the system.

I would like to resolve the issue without changing the browser. Any
suggestion/workaround, please?

Thanks and regards.

[AI] NVDA SOund Going through Google Meet

2021-06-22 Thread Viraj Kafle
Hello list,

Lately I am facing an issue with Google Meet wherein participants of
my meeting can hear NVDA or Jaws sound coming from my PC. I don't
remember having changed any setting on my system or Google Meet. I am
using Google Chrome with Windows10. Using Edge browser the issue is
minimal, i.e., if the volume of the system is low the sound is not
being heard, whereas in Chrome this is happening regardless of the
volume of the system.

I would like to resolve the issue without changing the browser. Any
suggestion/workaround, please?

Thanks and regards.
