Re: [AI] Accounting software for vision impaired

2014-09-28 Thread Milan
hello arvind sir,
First of all, sorry as I was not able to meet you. actualy some
emergency arouse and I got stuck there.
Second, i haven't received any reply from easy cash manager team yet
for my quaries. it looks as if they are not interested in it.
thirdly, I tried using the demo version but found it unsuitable for indian
users as there were very few customization option given to make it
suitable as per indian tax laws. nor I got the option to change the
currency to rupees.
after these things I think there is no option left to check its accessability.
I shared the download link for the easy cash manager. did anyone else also
checked it out? if yes, please share ur views over it.

Hi Milan,
The accounting softwares are basically same across geographies.
What they probably mean is that it is pre geared to handle tax in
specific countries.
Like GST and vat in different states in the US.
These parameters are mostly variables and can be set and customised.
What is really important is the accessibility.
They have a free trial download and that can answer a lot of questions.
Do keep us updated.

cannot make it as accessible as MS Excel.
At that time, we explained the Tally developers how they can make some

Busywin is a better option than Tally on accessibility terms. The only

Hi Puneet, I am into business of ceramic tiles. Even I have tried
using Tally with jaws but it doesnt work. I use excel for all my
accounts and there is no other option but to post all entries
separately in all ledgers. Someone told me that we can personalise
excel also in such a way that all the contra entries will be posted
automatically. But we need professional assistance to design excel
 according to our needs.
