Hi, I have encountering the same error in one of the Windows 8 machines. When I tried running kmdf-1.11-Win-6.1-x86.msu, I am getting the message as this update is not for your machine. However, in Microsoft website it is mentioned that this version is only for Windows 7 and windows server 2008. Reparing JAWS also did not help. Any alternate solution? Thanks & Regards, Mohith B. P. No need to install 13 and then 14 and all that. Just run the setup file of your own present version and give repair. It will fix that problem. Hi mukesh, JAWS 14.0 mirror driver requires that the file "WDF01000.sys" be version 1.11.xxx. This file is located in c:\Windows\System32\Drivers. You can find the version by right-clicking on this file. Choose Properties and then click on the Details tab. For product version, as an example, mine says File version 1.11.9200.16384.
