[AI] internet problems.
Hello friends. My computer has been behaving wierdly for sometime now. The problem is with internet explorer. 1. I cannot attach files while sending mails through my gmail account. Internet explorer encounters some error and the entire thing has to be closed down. Yahoo is working fine. 2. I use the adjust jaws verbosity dialogue box while accessing some difficult but important sites like cricinfo and telegraphindia. Things like flash movie, refresh page have to be disabled. Previously it was a one time exercise. Now I'm forced to make the adjustments whenever I log on to these websites. 3. Also tell me if you'll are able to access the Indian Express website. 4. Another problem pertains to my dataone connection. I strangely get disconnected after sometime. What may be the cause? Waiting to hear from you. Regards, Moiz Tundawala. Hi Moiz, In regards to your problem number 2, you might be using insert + V to adjust your verbocity settings. If so, then try using insert + shift + V. Settings changed through insert + V keystroke are temporary and will most probably go away even when you just alt tab and go to a different window and return back. Settings changed through the insert + shift + V keystroke (Personalize settings for web pages) are permanent for that particular website which is in focus. I was able to open the indian express site. Hello my friend, This may be the solution to your 4th querry regarding data one. Just go to my network places properties and see whether lan is enabled or not. If it is disabled, enable it. In case it is enabled, first disable it and then enable it again. Now, restart your PC as well as the modem. This might do as I had faced the similar problem and these steps worked for me. Hi! about problem number 4, I can suggest you a solution. You will have to install the windows security update package which I have with me. If you want I can send it to you by mail.
